I have only made a few "full guides" so I am stilling crafting my style with them... but the goal is to make the only think needed.. not to have someone scrabble for a place to kill something or just show where something is and not how to get there. I am happy I could help and it was decent :)

for anyone new trying this quest if at the end of the mission no vex spawn to run back to the room with the "train" moving and it will spawn every enemy in like it should

@@vlurk2263 it is called the "witherhoard" exotic grenade launcher. I believe it came from the beyond light DLC. You can check the exotic monument to lost lights in the tower right by the vault terminals to check all available exotics from previous season and check the dlc requirements

Great guide. Most appreciated. I did find a scannable Exo in Bray ExoScience lab so I didn’t have to scan the Exo in Asterion Abyss to move on to step two. Looks like 9 Per Salvage of the Past Triumph so the Abyss scan was required for the triumph. If you were to go into Bray ExoScience the lab on the right has the scannable Exo. Hope that helps you when finding the other 5

Thank you very much for this short and straight to the point guide. The only problems i had were with the area were you are being frozen, the end-boss killed me multiple times. I'm only 1212 but with some witherhoard abuse i made it.

no no no! you can still do it again :) simply go the map of Europa and at the same place that quest was.. you should see a simulation thing you can click on.. you can launch the challenge again from there :) i hope this helps!

I do not have a ton of experience making long guides, but I do have alot of experience being frustrated with ones I am watching because they go to fast or assume I already know exactly what they are talking about... so I did my best to make it how I would want to watch it. I am glad it was helpful!
My 4th part just said get 100 vex kills on Europa it didn't say minotaurs or hydra and when I completed it, it said do the exo mission but it won't show up for me and Variks doesn't have the quest either.. Any suggestions?

So when I got out of the raid I had both quest available the lament and to be able to go in where you went for step 5 of the lament at Veriks I went to vericks quest first and finished it gave me a hard rain falls quest...so when I get to step 5 I don’t get the option to go in there again .. what can I do ??
it is possible it might be the stranger? the southern fast travel point. i may have gotten the 2 vendors mixed up. and if you already completed the challenge once you can simply go to the same location when you open your map and you should simulation something and symbol.. and then launch it form there :) hope this helps!

Very helpful EXCEPT it won't let me past the seal to find the giant Exo head. I'm guessing there is another quest I have to finish first before I can unseal the locked passages. Probably which I can as a Hunter since my Hunter has stasis abilities but I'm currently playing as my Exo which does not. I'm pretty sure that's what the hold up is with trying to move further in this quest.
Yes, you will have to complete the story and side missions with variks before you can complete it on that character, but you could just do it on your hunter. It's been a while since I tried doing a quest on a different character.. but I believe it does keep your progress in most cases. Hopefully this is one of those !
Maybe next time show that weapon and it’s perks give a little on what you think, is it a hood sword dose it beat out other exotic swords should it be a main heavy that’s stuff. Good video ty!

Every time I save Clovis ai the vex at the second last fight wont spawn which screws every thing up I dont know what to do
i am sorry but i honestly am unsure how to help. Its possible it is bugging out or something. you try abandoning the quest and then picking it back up from the quest archive to the left of the post master in the tower. it is beside the stairs. If this does not work, i would contact bungie support on twitter and see if they can help.

How do I actually get the quest I’m with banshee and it’s not available.
Hey, I did all that, in fact, I did all what was wanted from me to get the sword and there are no icons on the map of europe for any mission, the only thing that I didn't do it is to drive the tank and use it in fight because I cant find the Guide to it, simply it's not ther, however, I went back to all the places that I have gone before, nothing new and it's still want me to coplet the Exo challenge step 5 of 11, any suggestions?
this was a long time ago now... but if i recall correctly the "tank" mission is what is holding you back. Its part of the "reclaiming Europa" questline if i am not mistaken. You need to do that to unlock more stuff with the vendor dude, including this mission.
as for the tank mission itself, i dont recall many details... but if you are having issues killing the turrets before they destroy your tank... i just hopped out when i got to that section and killed them with my guns. makes it alot easier to dodge their shots. i dont recall anything else about the mission sorry :(

What is the electric looking grenade launcher you used in the exo challenge when fighting the hydra?
that was the "Wither Hoard Seasonal Exotic", you cannot get it currently any longer... however it should be available for purchase next season in the exotic archive

Just started playing this game recently and I must ask what gun are you using that seems to shoot pools or water?
That is the wither hoard exotic grenade launcher. Currently not obtainable but it should be back next season.. so Tuesday. It will require dlc though sadly:( you will be able to get it from the exotic archive / monument to lost lights in the tower. Hope this helps! I need some help on step 3 of the quest I only got the vex defeated with swords option I didn't get the second requirement
do you mean that you werent able to complete it yet? or that it didnt appear? if you havent completed it, wait around for that public event in the spot i mentioned.. make sure to make it heroic.. and you will complete it all in one shot if you just sword spam everything. if it has not appeared on the quest, i have no idea how to fix that.. you could drop abandoning the quest and reclaiming it to if that fixes it. i hope this helped!

I'm on where I have do reclaiming Europa but I alrdy finished and it showing flag outside variks building but I'm outside place and it's not there but i need empires fall and priestess to and it's not showing up

You could try abandoning the quest and then picking it up against from the quest archive in the tower.. to the left of the post master. This has worked for some people

I made this exo challenge earlier today, so now after the sword kills theres no exo challenge showing on the map. Varyks doesnt say anything. Is it possible to continue or am I stucked here at this step?
I had the same problem. Just do the normal version of simulation: survival

I can't get the mission from variks after I get the sword kills from the vex. Please help me. I'm upto exo challenge completed but I can't speak to variks or enter the mission. I have no options to do so
it is possible you picked up the quest already.. if so could check your map of Europe on the left hand side to see if there is an activity available there
@@OrdinarySense I have the same error. The quest won't appear on the left side of the map. It's been replaced by the "Simulation: Agility" campaign quest, which I've already done. Any updates on this error?
@@andlarse abandon the quest and get it again from the quest archive i the tower to the left of the post master.. it should fix it!

Update to this question... so if you’re like me that held of on doing this quest till you had a comfortable light level I think the old secret new challenges changes every week so this week it’s umm simulation agility or something like that... so I had already done it on Tuesday to get the powerful reward so I just did it again and it gave me progress on the lament quest... hope this helps going to complete the quest now....

i am still pretty new to making full guides so i just went with the approach of.. hey what are all the things that have frustrated me when watching guides from experiences players in games i am not experienced in.. and just kind of went from there. Just tried to make it as simple as possible for the most amount of people :)

Mission for step 3 I did before even starting this. It is not relevant, BUT it is needed for step 3 and can be repeated from the map on Europa. this does count as I needed to redo it myself.

so one part i was not able to portray in the guide was i had completed every mission possible before this quest dropped, so some stuff just auto completed for me. It was a long time ago, but i believe you need to complete the main story for beyond light... and then complete all the empire hunt quests. Like going and tracking down the 3 generals. After that you should have access to the exo challenge which is what i believe you are stuck on correct?
