New 2-hour PTE scored test - 90 Overall (Pearson Practice Test B )

- This is a recording of my successful attempt (you can see the score at the end) to complete the official PTE mock test B, which can be obtained from ptepractice.com (or from your PTE booking account)
You will notice that the answers are not perfect but it did not prevent me from achieving 90 for each of the modules.
This is the new test format with 2 hours length which will be implemented from the 16th November 2021.

Thank you so much for all your guidance and help. Just wanted to tell you that my exam was in September and i listened to your videos for only 3-4 days but thru were so useful for me. I got 90 in listening,84 writing,73 writing and 80 speaking. Overall score is 81.

Thank you for the content. your tips and methods were helpful. just got my results today. Overall score 90 - all 90 except for listening 88. I did 2 cycles of pearson practice questions + 1 pearson mock test B, overall 2 weeks prep.
HI, if you purchase pearson mocke test A,B, C,D and E can we repeat the exams many times each? I hope we can do the mock exams many times each of them in order to familiarize.. Hope someone can clarify...

Is this mock test same as the actual test??
In the real exam in the read aloud section, do we have some time to prepare before we read ? I mean in this mock test you seem to have some time like 40 seconds to prepare yourself before you record the answer.

Teachers and brothers and sisters who have taken the PTE exam have experience to share with me.
The Speaking section of the PTE test has 30 minutes to work on. If you finish each sentence and press NEXT to continue to the next sentence, it only takes about 15-20 minutes to complete the Speaking part. So they give a total of 30 minutes of Speaking time so I have time to take the initiative to rest and arrange between sentences, right?
Because if there is a break between sentences, I will not be stressed and out of breath. And if I finish "NEXT" to the next sentence, I will be short of breath and stressed.
Do you take this exam on Windows PC or MacBook?
Hi Moni, when I did a pre test check before doing pearson mock test, I always hear plosive sounds eventhough I changed many positions of my mic. I am using the same mic with you. Could I have your advice to fix it, please? Thank you so much

Hi, Mony. I have just finished test E. But I faced two problems. The first one was a bug when I delivered my essay. A kind message that this could not be processed. So I had to return to the inicial page and resume the test. When I did it, it skipped automatically to reading section. So, in total it was given me only one summarise writing text and one essay, but I am not sure if it was correctly processed.
The second bug was for listening section. I noticed that two audios on "highlight incorrect words" and three of " write from dictation" were cut in the middle, that is, the play was not beginning from the first word. I think it is irrelevant to mention my score. Pretty bad.
Have you ever faced those problems or something similar?
If can't answer full of the repeat sentence, how it will affect my score?

Hey Moni, I'd like to ask, in the real test especially the speaking section, if you have you finished talking while the timer is still on, do you just stop talking without doing anything or stop talking and move on to the next question so the mic doesn't catch dead air?

Hi Moni. Thanks so much for this very helpful video. I just wonder, do we have exact 20 minutes for writing the essay, or we will have all the remaining time of the first section for that. I noticed that you submitted the essay while we have more than 10mins left. Thanks in advance for your response. I'm a magicer.
In the exam you get exactly 20 minutes for the essay and 10 minutes for each SWT. You can feel free to finish early but it does not give you extra time for Reading. As I have done the tests many times in the past 5 years I gained more confidence with timing but I recommend you to take time to check your answer carefully to avoid any grammatical or spelling mistakes. Good afternoon, Moni :) I have got each 79 thanks to you, and I am challenging to get each 84. The big change is the decrease of the number of DI, RL, ASQ, SWT and SST which are comparably easier parts. Do you think if it will be harder to gain listening and reading marks than 3 hours mock test? I hope you reply my questions if you have free time. I really appreciate your help always~
Hi Yun I think there will be more importance placed on HCS and MCQ-M. I do think it will be harder than 3-hour test.

I have one doubt about the last exercise of the first part: it says you have twenty minutes, but as you had finished the other parts in advance there was more than 20 minutes to finish it? I believe the last option in FIB(R&W) is "Focus" instead of "Pay", I was always put it "pay" and it was always the wrong answer.
Hi Islam, thanks for your comment! Yes, you are right, the answer should be "focus" because the preposition used is "on", making the collocation "focus on", for "pay attention" there should be a preposition "to". :)
