Quick video to address something that I tried to figure out for a couple months at least. When you have the android head unit with a SIM card inserted and it shows the 4G connection, but still will not connect to the internet. Here’s what you should do.
I followed your directions on my T-Mobile sim. It friggin finally works. You are awesome man.

About a week ago i accidentally came across your video, amd i did exactly what you said I'm in the uk and using ee so i did the apn settings for ee and lo behold it started working again after more than a year i just wanted to say Thank you for this video 🙏 I've subscribed yo also thnaks man...

Hi there , I have fixed my problem!
To anybody having an issue with connection or no signal bar, what you need to do is , take the sim you bought and place it into your phone or tablet and make sure it connects and registers to the network, then take it out and place it in the Android head unit and it should work.
For some reason if you try to place it directly in the head unit , it doesn't register with Tmobile or the carrier, it has to register through a phone or tablet and then once teh network see's it , you can place it in the head unit and it should work.
Hopes this helps someone.

Hi there, I have did everything you said, but I don't even have a 4g signal, my unit shows nothing, I can see that the sim card is installed and it shows the network and number. But the head unit shows no signal at all .
Do you have any idea what that might be?
I also hoked up the Kenwood KSC-PSW7EQ Compact Powered Enclosed Subwoofer for CAR with that radio and man bad ass brother
Thanks man this just what I needed it worked !!!
No problems bro glad I could help!
Didn't work for my T-Mobile sim card. Decided to use the sim card in a portable T- Mobile T-10 hotspot. The headache is finally over.

Holy shit man this just worked for me!!! Thank you so much
Just subbed bro. How do the 24s ride? Would you prefer the OEM 22s over the 24s?
Thanks for the sub bro means a lot! Honestly, I like the 24 inch better. So much so I have two sets. I’m going to sell one set to replace with another set. Also 24 inch. I feel like With the size of the vehicle, the air suspension etc….it Carries it well. Smooth ride overall. You just have to get the right tire size.

T- mobile SIM card for a cell phone with unlimited data?
Or one for WiFi only?
Internet only will get you going. You don’t need unlimited data.
Thank you sooo much
No problem! Hope it helped!
Is it still working for you? They said it was an update now it’s not working anymore
Hey, how to we get the MMSC and LCC and mnc. I called the network providers and they have no clue
Bro what plan do you get for your head unit is it like a tablet plan or does it have to be Mobile ?
I have an sd card that goes into ipad with cell service basically.
@@SublyminalTVI have the same thing through verizon, i ordered an xtrons unit for my bmw and hoping I can do the same. Youre a legend for figuring this out lol
How do you get the 4G to show? I have T-Mobile and all of those settings are there but no 4G signal
Make sure you are going step by step. I had the same problem

Hello. My sim card isn't automatically finding my network any ideas what it could be? I've changed apn
Sometimes you have to manually input the network

Where can i get a sim. Everywhere i try says my imei is bad
They will say that. They also told me that. Just get one from your cellphone provider and try this process with it
Have to tried mobile mint ? My friends like just use your hot spot Ted I'm like yea lets just burn up my data on my cell service such a great idea ..lol
I haven’t. But also using your phone hotspot will not give you the same results with these radios. Hard to explain in short text, but if you are using hotspot it won’t allow you to connect to the radio’s WiFi to bounce back and forth from CarPlay to the browser. If that makes sense
Yep thanks I bought a SIM card @@SublyminalTV
Sorry for being stupid but what kind of sim card did you use? I got a data one and that doesn't seem to work.
I activated a T-Mobile card
@@SublyminalTV was it a data only one?
@@richardwyatt6898 example: I could use it in an ipad. Get one that you can use in an ipad and it will work. It’s essentially a tablet

what type of sim card does the stereo use and where did you buy it helpme please
Hello, I have a T-Mobile card.
@@SublyminalTV I understand but how does the internet work do you pay for a line?
@@osminsintuj3455 I just pay for an internet data plan
@@osminsintuj3455Yes, you have to pay for a line. With T-Mobile, for $20.00 yu can get an Unlimited line for your headunit. OR, you can pay 10.00 a month for 2gb. But Beware, you will blow through 2gb really fast.
Tmobile works by default. It's the other networks that don't work in these units.
My T-Mobile one wasn’t working. I thought I wouldn’t get it to work according to T-Mobile due to the unit being 4G and the sim 5G. I’m just glad overall I got it to work because the unit is a much better experience with a sim card
Does anyone know why my mobile network button is greyed out?
My stereo recognizes the SIM card but I don't have any signal bar, I have the antenna correctly installed, I have no idea what it could be, can you help me please?
I have the same exact issue, did you figure it out?

when i go to access point and click on advanced i get a screen with the words: editing is not available for this user.
i can not edit anything. do you have any idea how to solve this, please?

Here Is the solution. Worked for me 👍
Go to setting , go to info and click build number 7 tines to open up developer mode just like u do with Samsung cell phones then it will work for you my friend !
I've done all that before waching this clip and no result, still 4G full signal but no internet. Google maps works with gps alone, it doesn't need internet connection

Can you call from your car if you leave your phone at home?
Only if you have a SIM card capable
Yea with a full phone service sim not a data only sim
Not with Chinese Android head units. The US doesnt allow chinese brands LTE or 5g phone access here. Data only.
All good in Australia you can phone from head unit but android phone apps for head unit are very ordinary.
@@harrysmedley4335 yea here we are too worried about the Chinese spying on us through our 4g and 5g celluar service wtf 🤣. As if......
Its one setting... Your provider.wap
My. Show only E
