Tongue is delicious. Several different cultures prepare it. It looked like you were eating the outer skin as well as the tender meat inside the tongue. The outer skin is tough and chewy. Usually not eaten.
You must visit all the islands in masbate, so amazing place esp the white beaches, etc.
I hope you got some more footage of Masbate. My wife is from Masbate City but now lives with me in Florida. No truly good hotel with-in the city with T. Island being the best which is not saying a lot. If you went across the city to Sabine's Place, SPA and hotel, you would have found a little oasis in a crowded noisy city. I would live at Sabine's if my wife let me. Thanks, for you made my wife happy to see her home town again. We come back to Masbate for a week every few years but stay at One McKinley Place BGC for remainder of our Filipino trip. Nothing beats BGC or Rockwell in my opinion.
My recent visit to Masbate was surprising. . . It is very diverse now, and it has a very high levels of activity in the place. Everyone is seemed so busy. . . The ships has a lot of destinations - Cebu, Calbayog, Roxas, Lucena, Manila, Albay, Sorsogon and I think even Batangas. There was an increase in transportation. And the buses plying are modern, bound for Manila and vice versa. Roads are being widened. . . And investors are bullish in this island because it has a lot if things to offer. I think there is a big Korean company in the area. . . Vloggers and tourists are increasing. Sea Foods are two thumbs up in this island.

I did not know that there is rodeo in the philippines. I'm now excited to see your documentary.
Yes. there is actually, 2 of them. One in Bukidnon. The other is in Masbate. It is scarry when the cows are freed in a street and they were being chased by cowboys and lead them to the arena. . . The Rodeo Festival in Masbate is highly recognized locally and internationally.
But only one has the title that’s why the Rodeo Capital of the Philippines is Masbate 😊
They been doing this for over a hundred years remnants of Mexican Vaquero culture that's been passed to Filipinos since colonial times. These homies are descended from Mexicans that settled in that area and brought their vaquero culture with them, the lie is that this was American influenced nah Cowboy culture adapted by the Anglos in the US are brought by Mexicans that settled the South West.

Oh my Mom was there last week with her brothers and they watched that also :) The had a good time and she told me all beaches are soo nice like Boracay but less crowded

thank you visiting my province masbate. thats too much if they charged you double price compared to the regular rate of that hotel. its a shame i felt sad they are not honest, and leave a bad impression to all they're guest's.

What 10Th per night? Much more expensive than a 4star hotel! That is over pricing. I reckon they are the only hotel on the island. Their dialect is similar to Hiligaynon.
It’s expensive cause it has event in the city and hotel rooms here is almost full booked and also Treasure Island is Nice and Fancy Hotel.
