NO SHAFT NO PROBLEM!! -- REPLACING THE PTO FOR A HYDRAULIC MOTOR ON THE DRIBBLE BAR TANKER

  • In todays video we are after getting a hydraulic motor fitted to our dribble bar tanker and we are putting it on the 6290 to see will it be able to work it. we have spread lots of slurry with the 6499 and the tanker and it has worked very well but the big test is on the 6290 a 135hp tractor. it worked perfectly with the dribble bar and done exactly what it said on the tin so we intend on keeping it as we now know it will work on all of our tractors.
Hope you enjoy, any questions hit me down in the comments below, thanks for watching. Please like and subscribe for more. Videos every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.

Hydraulic pump won’t last pissing time the pressure it takes to run the macerator never mind having to run the pump on it at the same time

You could tie a bit of baler twine around the bar on the door and then tie a loop on the end of it and then when you push the lever to turn on the hydraulic pump you can put the loop over the lever to hold it in place.

Phil cut a triangular piece of half inch ply to drop in behind the spool lever far handier than a bungee cord .

Get onto John in Seat Systems Childers Rd Limerick. I'm no relation but got bits off him lately. Fierce nice guy. Won't set you wrong. He'll be able to get you sorted with refurb kits for your tractor seats. You won't have to change full seat. He's Suspension kits, seat cushions etc. You won't know yourself with the comfort 👍Your back will thank you for it!!!!

Great vlog Phil, great content towards future proofing your tanker towards safety and over a few years it works itself out as cheap with diesel and possibly time and especially also if you get a grant towards it.

Turn down the flow on that lever, doesn’t need to be as high. It’s not popping when u are filling only when maceraator is running. Also swap the pipes so u are pulling the lever to engage instead of pushing. Don’t know why but always found levers to pop easier when pushed forward. New Holland also does the same. Great video.

Id like to see how the tractor would manage a trail n shoe with the hydraulic pump it wouldn't b as bad with the dribble bar for ur only running the masarator with the trail n shoe its basically everything
