    Omg thank you!! I was watching a video that was just someone doing this stitch and I couldn't understand the sorcery of it. Makes so much more sense it's two different strands

    Silly question but the tacking threading, at the end do you just tie it off underneath with a knot or do you do something more specific?

    So... I can use this stitch to put 550 cord with leather using micro cord as thread. As well as to use 550 cord as thread in other larger 550 cord projects. Thank you very much. There are many more things I can make now

    I'm a complete newbie how do you start the first thread 😢

    So you don't go back through the same hole it is in a new hole when doing the secure stitching?

    If your making a straight line couldnt you take that first thread and just
    Have it up through the fabric where you start and have it back down through the beginning all at the start instead of up through at the beginning and then have that secong strand do the stich THEN put that first stitch through?
    Sorry if that make no sense

      @CutesyCrafts  Před 9 měsíci

      Yes, that could work for a straight line. Curves would be harder though.

    I wonder why they call it the couching stitch rather than the tack-down stitch?

    What would you need to do a couch stitch for?

    • @CutesyCrafts
      @CutesyCrafts  Před 7 měsíci

      It's just another option for a different type of line. It especially gives a different look if you use two different colors.

    Hi. Is the first thread attached to a needle?

    • @CutesyCrafts
      @CutesyCrafts  Před rokem +1

      I leave it attached and use two needles since you have to bring it up on one side and down at the other. Technically, you could thread the needle for the first strand, bring the needle up, take the needle off to use on the second strand, and then put it back on the first strand for the final step.
