Update on the yellowing plants bed - I removed 30-40 grubs today! The roots of the plants were suffering needless to say. I’ll treat with beneficial nematodes later this week. Hopefully, the bed will recover.
As much as I enjoy your teacher spirit, it was nice to see a "friend down the street for a chat" vibe today. 🤠

I'm game to send you a garden clip as long as it's in fall/winter or maybe early spring! And if you have any more of that extra rain, send it to Texas! There's a heat dome that's parked over the entire state that ain't going anywhere for at least two weeks! 🥵😭🤦🏽🤣
Haha you can send me whatever garden shot you want from whatever season works best for you 😊 I should’ve said that we haven’t had a lick of rain for the last 3 weeks now and my water tanks are all dry. It looks like we’ll be heading back to drought conditions if nothing changes, but at least the temps haven’t been anything like yours!
I love most anything that has to do with gardening, so I'm down to watch whatever.
Sucks about the flooding! Half my province was on fire for weeks, and my street flooded, but I've been safe and my garden is doing better than ever. I have harvested close to 1kg of raspberries, with more on the branches, and I should get the same amount this autumn.
I’ve been so sorry to hear about the fires over there. I’m glad you and your garden made it through unscathed. I’m jealous about the raspberries. I got a few handfuls, but not nearly enough to satisfy and still have some left to preserve. Thanks for watching and giving your feedback too. Hope you have a good week!

When a well rounded fertilizer doesn't help yellow plants I usually look at the soil pH because the wrong pH can prevent the plants from being able to uptake the nutrients that are right there waiting for them. Not sure if you ever have pH issues like we do here.
Thanks, Andrea. I appreciate the tip. The pH was fine, but I did find out that I had a grub problem in that bed. I've never seen plants react that way to grubs, but there was root damage that could have been preventing nutrient uptake. Waiting to see if the plant recover now that I've treated the grubs. My detective hat is on lol

Love your idea Val, about showcasing Gardens sorry to hear about the flood l had my share of incident’s rabbits, squirrels, white butterflies, and bad wind storms not to mention my rain water is dirty via Canada, overall, my garden is strong and producing cucumbers,squash,Green beans, cabbages about another week on my tomatoes week or two on my sweet corn. i’m hoping to do a garden to frying pan video on my channel thanks for sharing your ideas and thoughts.

The raised bed looked like it had fiberous unfinished compost. Reminded us of the compost we bought in Victoria. The carbon in it might be tying up the nitrogen.

Haha thanks guys. Yeah, he was cracking me up. I love having him out there with me. Thanks for your suggestion about the compost. I’ll have to keep an eye on that. I did find a more obvious issue: grubs! Not sure how that happened since it’s a new bed and my understanding is that’s the result of overwintering beetle eggs, but maybe I added in something I don’t remember 😂
just a comment on my comment lol I went back to a set up video I took of that raised bed, and I did add some compost from a local farm when setting it one up...hmm 🤔

like Ayyan I discovered an amazing drink this season, it's called Limonanna and is common in Egypt and all over the middle East, mint leaves, lemon juice and sugar with scubes 🧊 in a blender 🤤.
My father's tomato harvest (all miniatures) has been off the scale this year 😮.
I've been concentrating on planting Blue and Purple among my mainly evergreen garden, cornflower, Lavender and pompom Allium 🤗. Great to see the enthusiasm from you guys
Hi Jimbo. Yum, that limonanna sounds good. The name took me a second because I was expecting banana to be an ingredient, but it actually makes perfect sense since Naana means mint in Arabic 😄 That’s so great for your dad. I harvested almost 6kilos (approx 13lbs) today alone. Just went for a walk out to the garden and next thing I knew, I was lugging them all back to the house 😅 As for your garden, I bet it looks a magical. Blue is actually my favorite color 😊 I really need to up my color game next year. Cornflowers are some of my favorites too.
