They both come with the same gear ratio. you really are not supposed to race those at a rolling start. Its mosr of a dragRace Car. They are both the same car except when the Demon Race ecu is installed. My superStock has no backseat tho. And no sunroof. So its lighter. But you can option it with seats and 20's instead of the Drag Nittos. But they both are identical other then that.
@@Groux504 and that race ecu being in there doesn’t matter if he doesn’t have that 100+ octane gas in the tank. At that point they are the exact same car which will make it come down to who is lighter
Depends tho if the demon is on race fuel or tune.. if it was on e-85 it would probably be at 840 but then again it has gearing made for the 1/4 mile not top speed runs
Facts man I saw a hellcat gap a gt500 off the line and ended up being taking to gapplebees in the end. Seems like the dodges got higher gearing up too compared to the shorter GT500s
It does. The demon isn’t set up gearing wise to do rolls, which is why even a 570S beats demons in a roll. And not only that demons are limited in their mph, because the stock tires can’t handle more than 168 mph.
@@ctcdarkness a 570s is a Mclaren and is over 1000lbs lighter so no shit it beats a demon😂. But a demon beats a gt500 in a roll and a gt500 beats a superstock so like I said the superstock beating a demon doesn’t make any sense
A super stock is the same as a stock demon when they don’t have the other chip in for high octane fuel and the super stock is more raw power on the street vs a demon
Willing to bet that the Super Stock has the rear seat delete and no passenger, allowing him to dust this demon with 2 adults in it. If the Demon was on E85 it would be a bit closer
Demon needs driver mod 1. And 2. The super stock probably doesn’t have a passenger so it’s 160+ lbs lighter
And I bet you they ain’t running race fuel
Demons are already lighter from factory if you didn’t know that,so him having a passenger almost evens weight out
Demon was made for strip only bruv, not the street.
They both boats tho
It’s a super stock versus a damn demon don’t be making excuses this boat will gap you😂
That's is the quietest demon in the world
Im sayin
Mf got silent mode
it’s a hellcat no purr is going to compete with true engine
Damn you learn something new every day a fn super stock I had not heard of that beast.
Demon is a higher class challenger than the super stock.
Demon only lost because of gear ratio it is set up for quarter mile not highway

Pov: he turns on all the drag racing stuff 😈😈😈😈
Both of these cars would see my taillights.
Whatchu drive?
Lower pulley be like:
Take em to the track
Huh... alright...
Considering it’s a tad faster than the gt500 only in a roll race now I’d love to see what the super stock would do to a gt500 😮

Interesting
gearing makes a huge difference… also the demon is a drag purposed car. its not designed to be a top end kind of car
Facts man I saw a hellcat gap a gt500 off the line and ended up being taking to gapplebees in the end. Seems like the dodges got higher gearing up too compared to the shorter GT500s
Both the Super Stock and the Demon have 3.09 gears
But the pull should not be that much different with the weight difference.. given the SS 797 hp vs 808 hp.. something doesn't add up.
In a press conference years ago they said demon would have low top end speed dudue to limiter for tires and hood opening drags alot at higher speeds
Yeah its s drag strip car not a roiling race
This shit don’t even make sense

I honestly cannot tell which is which

They got different gearing bro
That's not super stock, that's a 392 challenger and the demon wasnt racing it
Exactly. You can't even hear the supercharger whine.
thats a 5.7 liter
