Demon only lost because of gear ratio it is set up for quarter mile not highway
They both come with the same gear ratio. you really are not supposed to race those at a rolling start. Its mosr of a dragRace Car. They are both the same car except when the Demon Race ecu is installed. My superStock has no backseat tho. And no sunroof. So its lighter. But you can option it with seats and 20's instead of the Drag Nittos. But they both are identical other then that.

Not about the power. Gt 500 barely has any torque plus the superstock got a good gearing ratio and it can hook on a 60 roll and the redeye can’t hook onna 60

gearing makes a huge difference… also the demon is a drag purposed car. its not designed to be a top end kind of car
Facts man I saw a hellcat gap a gt500 off the line and ended up being taking to gapplebees in the end. Seems like the dodges got higher gearing up too compared to the shorter GT500s

@@tjtrevshootspepsicansandri2694 well, if i can intervene. A regular redeye has a 2.72 gearing. The superstock has the 3.02 gearing. Yes, even the if the superstock has 20 extra horses, the gearing makes a huge, HUGE DIFFERENCE, that’s why superstocks can beat GT500s. No the regular redeyes
Clearly you can see the guy bouncing the rpm limiter in 4th he’s trying to shift himself or not shift. not a got idea if your not really good at hitting your shifts perfect. Honestly watching again I think he was in manual mode in 4th the entire 40-140😂didn’t hear one shift

10hp at its peak... but the super stock has major gains in the lower rpms which is the reason why it's so much faster

It’s all about the driver imo. Most people who get Hellcats CANNOT handle that power. You get the responsible driver who knows what they’re doing, Hellcat becomes a monster. Same thing with the Gt 500 and ZL1. Plus the superstock is a low end monster from a roll, 10+ horsepower at its peak.

with the intake the gt500 should be just a hair quickier, had a gt500 and 60-130 the shit out of it, now have the SS and its pretty damn close in performance regarding 60-130 which blew my mind, thought it would be similar to a red eye, seems these SS are a little quicker
