I own 7 Leatherman's and this one is by far my favorite

Big Signal fan here too. The only thing that bothered me with the Signal is the part serrated blade. I think that why the Arc really spoke to me with the tool selection and good quality blade (with a thumbstud!). Ordered one and waiting for it to arrive.
The Signal is prone to falling apart.
I’ve had my signal for 7 years. Nothings fallen apart on it.

Great video!! I was curious about the Arc and you covered it all. The price tag isn't something to be excited about, but it's a Leatherman. Are there cheaper options? Absolutely. But Leatherman is tried and true, and their warranty support is second to none. The Arc is a beautiful multitool and I love a lot of the new features on it. I just don't think there is enough there to swap out my Surge for it. That's a beast of a multitool. I don't recall seeing you with one on your channel so if you don't have one, I hope you get your hands on one because I would to see what you thought about the Surge as well. The Surge is superior in almost every way outside of the Magnacut blade.
Right ! I know a lot of people would buy a premium surge with upgraded knife steel I would in a heart beat.

Every single implement on the Arc is seriously flawed, as are the frame and scales. Leatgerman has other, better versions of most of the Arc's implements.
The Arc's Magnacut blade is the absolute lowest, to the point that is is just expensive steel. It is too thick and the wrong profile, also.
Give me a use case for the Arc's saw. It is useless, and only cuts in one direction.
