My grandparents used to snip their cats whiskers super short because my grandpa didn’t like how long they got because it was “unruly” and he didn’t like how they looked. I always felt so bad for their cats

My cat is a year old and has only lost two. I like to put them in the middle of his head so it sticks straight up and he looks goofy trying to see it but I've also seen some people put them in a little vase or jar.

For real? It's like someone losing an eyelash. Old one falls out, a new regenerated one takes its place. It's not only common for cats to lose a whisker here and there but also expected.

Yeah it doesn't happen very often in healthy cats but even when it does, it's hard to find them sometimes because it's the size of a hair just stiffer. Cats shed their claw sheaths much more often so if you have a cat, try looking for those instead of whiskers (if you want something from your cat).

My cat is 14yo old lady now. She had acne big part of her life and it was pretty easy to get rid of it.. just dont use plastic feeding/drinking cups etc (use metal or glass or something like), try to hide plastic bags your cat likes to lick etc, her jaw has been all white for years after i have looked at all those things :)
There's a few tips on how to help with a cat's feline acne! Use metal or ceramic food and water bowls and clean them regularly. Plastic holds bacteria easily so that could be a cause of the feline acne if you use plastic bowls. You can alsolightly scrub your cat's chin with salty water to help remove the ance, don't do it too often though since it could irritate the cat's skin if you do it too much. My cat has feline ance and these tips have helped her ance get better over time!

Omg my cat charli had that kind if acne before and i didn't know what what it was before so i just ignored it😭 but now the acne is gone from his chin now i guess at that time the acne didn't reach on where his whiskers was and thank god. That the acne is gone now

To everybody saying, "well MY cat doesn't shed whiskers!" Cats usually shed a whisker once every few months, you just don't notice it because they are literally the size of hairs, just stiffer. Some people think their cats also don't shed their claw sheaths, but cats have to or their claws would be overgrown. It's just that things these are small compared to things like snorting or wheezing that even when we do notice it, our brain dismisses it because it isn't important.
Omg the cat acne thing actually happened to my cat Pepper. His whiskers never fell out but it was on his chin and I couldn't figure out what it was for like weeks
