- Throughout the winter we footbath all our cattle that are in on cubicles and the straw yard through a water and formalin solution, 3 times a week. We do this to protect their feet from potential problems such as dermatitis. In this video we will show you the routine we go through to get the job done. Hope you enjoy.
It's great to see you both showing how you take care of your animals which is a benefit overall for your business 👍.
You are so entertaining, yet informative.👏👏👏
Well I never did, you learn something new every day.
Love that you are all so happy. I'm sure not all the time but most because you love working with the cow's. Farming is great if you can have a farm. If not you can at least visit this farm if you live near. Great video again girls❤
Very enjoyable video 👍
Favourite farming family on you tube 🐄❣️
Thanks for sharing! I'm in love with the both of you!!!😂😂❤❤
lovely accents
🎉😊
Glad to see the return of the song and dance team. I've often wondered. Do the girls have a favourite cubicle? Daisy is in Myrtle 's cubicle there will be trouble 😂😂
They definitely get used to a certain routine 🥰
Nice working 😃
Do you ever find, with just lime on the beds without any sawdust/chopped straw, that any dry cows, milkers get lime burns on their teats?? I can see that the legs, flanks on a lot are quite dirty compared to most cubicle housed cows, not a criticism, just an observation.
Girls - why dont you use a salt / fertiliser spreader to spread the lime on the beds, it would save you so much time and effort.
Do you ever run water to flush clean those floors?
Why don’t ye put in automatic scrapers
My brother made me stop using that product for footbaths carcinogenic. He claimed There's other organic acids I use
Ok sisters I’ve got a serious question for you all!? Why do cows need a foot bath? The reason I’m asking is I’ve discovered an organism that I believe may cause foot problems in people. I know these organisms can make toenails brittle. I believe I can prove some other things in regards to these organisms. I’ve sent pics to Entomologists, Biologists, Veterinarians, and nobody knows what they are. If you can let me know what the hoof wash is for, I’d Greatly appreciate it. I may have a couple follow up questions also. Could it be possible that whatever hoof condition your treating your cows for be linked to these things? I know a lot more about these things and they may tie into hoof and mouth disease. I may be wrong about this but I need some bovine expertise. No this isn’t a joke either, it’s legit questions. Thanks Rick
YOU 2 CAN SING ALSO!!🤣
