A David Williams photographic charter on the WLLR. With the long term visit of Krauss & Company ‘U’ Class No.2 Zillertal from the Zillertalbahn in Austria, the opportunity was taken for a photo charter with a pair of Austrian steam locomotives, with recently overhauled Societe Franco-Belge built 0-8-0T No.699.
Appropriate stock was paired with the locomotives in the form of Zillertalbahn coaches, which arrived on the line in the 1970s.
