THE EARL at work on the Welshpool & Llanfair LIGHT RAILWAY! | 18.06.2024

Exploring more of the Welsh narrow gauge heritage lines, here is the turn of Welshpool & Llanfair Light Railway.
This beautiful 2 foot 6 inch gauge line twists and turns through the picturesque landscape between Llanfair Caereinion and Welshpool, and we had a lovely run behind GWR 0-6-0 822 ‘The Earl’, up on the balcony of the Austrian 4 wheel carriage, one in a rake of African Sierra Leone Railway and Hungarian stock, so here are some highlights of the visit, taking in the great views the line had to offer!
