Hi Dorien. I think you are going to discover that its more than a Children's album. I think you are really going to like a lot of these tunes. On this album Amy not only sings and plays piano, but she plays Fender Rhodes (electric piano-that's what you are hearing on this tune) harp, vibraphone, Glockenspiel, kazoo, etc. The whole thing is really unique. The whole thing sounds wonderful and fresh. I think a lot of the people are gonna enjoy this little album, definitely not just kids. I find it really sweet and heartwarming to know that everyone in the family had a little something to add to this. It's lovely!

Honestly, I'm okay with this change. It isn't healthy for her to be depressed constantly, especially with a family. Even attempting to get back into the dark mindset would bring you down. Maybe we'll get more Ev songs when she's having a bad day but that's about it. I like Amy because of her amazing talent, not because of Evanescence. There are other bands that sound like Evanescence that I can be content with. Actually, there's a new band called "Hunters Grace" that really brings back memories of "Fallen".

True fans will always support you, Amy. I still can't get my head around some people wanting you to remain the same. If fans only care about the music and not the artist, that's one thing. But I personally think that art is something too spontaneous and ever changing, to be taped within the walls of a twisted record label. True fans are like true friends, they support you and encourage you and stay with you until the end.

For those who hate Amy now... I follow Evanescence since I was 12 and she really help me a lot over the follow years until now (I'm 25), her music inspired me to be different if I wanted to and be just me and feel that it was okay, even if my family looked me weird because I didn't dress like them or listened the music that they liked. She makes me strong, and I know she wasn't alone but her voice is amazing! NOW she has a kid and obviously a mom side, I really understand her if she wants to sing for her son and her family like the way that she's doing it maybe other parents would like her songs too. I really like it and if I had a kid I would put it for him. If you don't like it, it's fine, but it doesn't mean that she's changing the way that she is. It's pretty obvious that some people change with the years. She has someone who depends on her, she doesn't have the same time or even the same inspiration to do what she was doing before. A mom's head always gonna be on her family first
You make me want to sing Amy, you make singing look so fun and GODLY, and I'm hoping to be a singer songwriter soon. Working on it!
