I don’t always do 0-60 pulls in my 700rwhp work truck but when I do, it’s always on a tiny narrow side street with cars and trees inches from my mirrors.
💯
@@PalmBeachDyno my question is what is the power gain with ONLY the Whipple supercharger ? No cam or head or piston swap just the supercharger on a TOTALLY STOCK engine .
Welcome to Florida..
@@craigalston2208 should make close to the same power. Just at higher boost level and the cam will change the power curve.
Looks like an industrial area.
I really think Ford should bring back the Excursion and offer the Godzilla and the Powerstroke as engine options
That be nice but if they did it probably be electric or something
@@jacobb5944 it'd likely be even faster. Maybe they can learn how to make aluminum chassis/ bodies good enough to meet NHTSA Regs while they're at it.
It would be a $125k plus suv.
Fully agree but only if they give us two options. A regular Excursion (like the old on a short bed superduty frame) and MAX Excursion based on the current superduty crewcab longbed frame. That would be insanely awesome.
I'd buy one
When the work truck sounds like a Hellcat. Just tell your friends it’s the power steering pump.
Wow what a blast, this big truck is insane, so damn fast, for being that big and heavy! Nice job guys.
Ford sure has been stepping up their game with their motors in the past few years. Love to see it
I know right? Unlike what Cummins tried to do with their new Ram truck by attempting to lock people out like the Chevy Corvette C8. You can thank the assholes Gadigeshkumar Hurli (RIP), Jose Valerdi (QUIT), Jennifer Rumsey, Joe Gahimer (RETIRED), Raymond Kapperman (FIRED) and Chris York for all that bullshit.
That off idle torque looks insane!
I would never get tired of that sound! ❤🥰
I started to question my priorities after watching this video, damn that thing sounds good.
interesting to compare these numbers to the TRX. Huge props to you and everyone involved. Keep up the great work.
I believe the TRX does 0-60 in 3.7.
@@andyb0x wider and better tires is my guess- they're probably close in weight since this 250 is just a regular cab
Love seeing big American V8s, Still thriving today! Awesome!
Love the sound of a supercharger.
Reason I love the coyote platform. Similar HP and tq numbers and tq curve without opening engine.
Love the Godzilla content!!! 👍🇺🇸👍🇺🇸👍
I’d love to see the numbers from a stock 7.3 with just the whipple on it
You would be happy with just a tune from the sounds of it
Ford Mustang Embraces Its Turbo Side, Kicks Godzilla Butt With 8-Sec ¼-Mile
@@DWH300 who would of thought vs a 8,000 lb truck
Awesome job 👍. That’s a lot of truck to move that quick
Absolutely insane and i love it...PBD ftw
It's not often that I click to like a video even before watching it!
As soon as I read the title, I was like yesss!!!
It's actually pronounced "Gozirra", at least that's how the people in the old movies pronounced it.
Huge power for the heavy drivetrain.
So happy to see this truck again
Damn perfect setup ! This might be better than the 10k powerstroke option
Wow. Great job. Very impressive
I have the Whipple on my 2021 Roush F150 with 800hp and as a daily driver and it's unbelievably fun
I got to see this truck in person at a event in Gainesville really cool stuff you guys are doing!!! 🎃
Keep the stock steel wheels on it, this is a real sleeper truck, you should do some videos of racing a Camaro or mustang on the streets, I would love to see their reaction!
My stock C5 Vette does 0 to 60 in 4.5
Or better yet an edgar driving a lowered chevy lol
stock 6.7 is around 7 sec the fact that you took 3 sec off is amazing.
6.7?
@@josefrobbins8781 yeah i think car and drive did baseline runs on it
@@kakanator the engine in the vehicle is the 7.3 gasoline. The 6.7 is diesel.
The smile from the camera man said it all on that second pull
Holy cow that must be fun to drive in town tease corvette Camaro ect….😮
That ford “advance trak” really works. Those first few passes had NO wheel spin!
Defff rollin over at the top. Clownin over here
I wonder will a procharger make more top end power
With 4wd and some sticky tires I bet that thing would be a force to be reckoned with
You might bring it down to 4.1 but that's it.
700 at wheels is probably closer to 850+ at crank, If only the 6.2 got the support that the 7.3 is getting, guess I'll have to upgrade
oh my god that thing is friggin sick
so 700ish whp max on 93? is internal strength holding it back from 800 wheel on pump 93? I was hoping it could do at least eight to the wheels on 93.
Neighbors must LOVE y’all 😂😂
Jesus that thing sounds brutal.
Good lawd! I need this now. 😂
Keep them coming
what is the safe upper power limit on a stock N/A motor possible with a tune?
The big advantage of the Godzilla over the PSD is cost. Would be interesting to see how cost compares after the mods to a PSD. Doesn't take much money to get a PSD to 700 hp and you get way more torque.
How much money does it cost to keep the PSD and its transmission together at those power levels?
@@cmmckinney77 I have no idea. My understanding is that PSDs hold up pretty good to 700hp, but you go higher than that and you start breaking rods and stuff. So I think there is a step change in cost around that mark. But that's making way more torque than a Godzilla could even dream of.
@@cmmckinney77 you act like this will stay together 😂
@@mattbrew11 you act like this wont stay together...
@@mattbrew11 I don’t know if it will or won’t. I know pushing a power stroke to this horsepower level is iffy and you probably want to spend some money on durability upgrades. Coyote’s are pretty durable at this power level. I don’t know of a reason the 2.3 liter larger Godzilla wouldn’t be. Maybe you should educate us?
Love it!!!!!😃
Espectacular saludos desde Córdoba Argentina 💪
What can I do for my 2019 f250 fx4 with the 6.2L Boss super crew?
Damn and I thought mine was fast. I had a 2006 f350 xlt regular cab with the v10 and 430 gears. Custom ordered it that way. 😎
LOL I thought the UPS driver was gonna jump outta his truck and get hit 😂
Awesome!
I dropped my car off on Monday ur brave af for doing pulls on that tight ass street ! Hahahaha I hope my car gets featured in a video man would be sick
Can't wait to get one of these engines in my '22 Ranger >:)
Love it
I heard Super Charging isn’t optimal for towing. Heat issues. Did y’all do anything to combat the thermal challenges?
What are you guys doing for the transmission? Stock?
Just helllllll yeah brother!!🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
I'm curious what is the MPG on this truck. I know, I know, you're not building a truck like this for MPG. I saw a procharged 7.3l with 8lbs of boost actually increased the MPG, but no cam, no exhaust, all stock except for supercharger.
This is my new full size truck
im in fort lauderdale, do you guys tune holley terminator x?
Any 0-60 & 1/4 mile on the bigger tires, let us know. And is that a 3.55 or 4.30 in that. Thx
I have a 2020 7.3 Gas ProCharged 8lbs of boost, long tube headers and exhaust with 35” tires. 4.30 gear
My truck is Crew cab and weighs more
My 0-60 is 4.81 sec
czcams.com/video/Mi8YTOi3EOI/video.html
That thing is the 3rd vehicle in my 34 years that I've heard that scares me.... The other 2 were the truck from jeepers creepers and a 79 dodge power wagon with cherry bombs for sale on the side of the road when I was 18....
Someone should cut the frame and put a short bed on it, lower it and make it a RCSB 3/4 ton. I am trying to find a RCSB Sierra now to do some suspension and Welds then pull the L83 out of and build a L8T with forged rods, bigger pistons, cam, CNC heads and some type of FI. I've had every different type of LS build and now I really want to build a Gen V motor.
I have cut 2 super duties down to short bed I have a video of one If I was to do it again I think I would get A f 150 and swap the front end And buy a bed
What camshaft and heads did you use?
If I wasn't saving my pennies for the new dark horse, I'd get this package in mine. Give us an update on the 0-60 when the temp drops. I bet it hits 3.9
Challenger DH?
Can a stock engine reliably withstand 850 crankshaft hp (about 700 at the wheels)???
Yeah you should get at least 300k no problem
Outstanding video.
What heads and cam did you wind up using?
Thanks
That's a really good for a truck but what's the goal here exactly?
I'm starting to learn more about the truck community and as someone who's into racing, it's hard to get myself to think about the amount of money all this costs but starting to lean into understanding.
I have a 1999 Ford f350 V10 supercharged kennebell it's awesome with a gearvendors underoverdrive
I have the same truck , would love to do this to mine!
How much for supercharger and install at your shop, I’m in the area
Test out on the interstate and not a crowded street. Wow! Really dangerous
Is this a boost cam or reg stage cam?
I want that truck to pull my camper!. LOL
Did y’all launch it in 4wd?
Hey Ken, great name by the way, I have a 2021 FR3 Class A RV with the 7.3 Godzilla engine in it. It's got plenty of power but I'd like to squeeze a little more fuel mileage out of it, what do you recommend? And I'll be there in Florida in June next summer so maybe you can help me out?
lol fuel mileage? try slowing down. nothing else is gonna help short of going to a diesel.
55mph limit, an 87 octane tune and a header/dual exhaust setup. Rv and cab chassis are de tuned for the heavy platform
Call 5 Star
Why would you need to do heads with a cam? Are you saying stock heads don't flow well enough?
What gear ratios do you have in there
U guys do any 6.2l raptor work
Can the whipple be installed on the 6.8 liter “mini-zilla”? As far as I am aware, the engines are identical other than piston stroke.
6lbs of boost?! Holy cow.
Ok you guys are bad ass!!!!!!!!!
I like the wheels tbh lol
So with all the work put into this beast and the truck it’s self of course…. What are we talking in price?
This for my truck!
Badd azz truck.
Now that’s how the supercharger is supposed to sound. I’m guessing it’s a stage two? With a smaller pulley most people who have supercharges they’re not loud.
“Holy Shit” 😂😂😂
Have you done anything to the transmission to take the added torque and HP? If not, how do you think it will hold up to the high RPM pulls?
It’ll be just fine. It’s not that much power. It could probably take 1,000 crank and be alright. These trucks are made to tow 20k+ lol.
I wanna swap my 2003 EB EXPEDITION its awd 4x4 and i think it would bolt up to the trans
Monster!
my next job after my back operation will be mechanical, i have always loved cars / trucks and worked on them since age 6. started with autocars coal haulers. need a career with passion working on them in my life.
I see these ford builds everywhere now lol
this is what i want in my truck.
Serious question because ive been up and down thinking about this... What would be the advantage to spending the same amount of money to supercharge a gas engine as you would just opting for the diesel? Especially if youre running 93 octane which is as much as diesel.
Weight savings
Cost of maintaining a diesel vs gas you'll save money in the long run
Not having to comply with DPF and DEF for emissions
@@kyler_funk dpf and def emissions never heard of her
Wow. The Godzilla seems to have a lot of room to grow horsepower. There's rumors of a twin turbo Mega Godzilla. I'm wondering. With a cam change and a supercharger. You mentioned transmission shifting issues. What's your thoughts using a modded Godzilla in an S550 with the 10R80. What other upgrades would you recommend to run a twin turbo or higher blower Boast. You have that Big F-Series Super Duty hauling ass running low 4 second 0-60 is amazing. Great job.
Why would you want to put a truck motor in an S550 and then invest in heads, cam, intake, exhaust, and boost just to get close to what your stock Coyote can do on boost alone? Not to mention the added weight. Just seems to be an incredible waste of time and money.
@@tommyyancy3902 could be starting with an ecoboost S550
or v6 that was a thing
So 7.3 and 10r80 swap an eco boost or V6 S550? Sounds like an even bigger waste of time and money. Sell either of those cars, buy a 5.0, 10r80 car, add boost, done.
@@tommyyancy3902 because v6 s550 can sell for about $15k probably won’t even get that on a trade in so let’s say you get $10k trade in value (highly optimistic) now you’ve got to finance the remaining $30k then another $10k for your power adder don’t forget about your fuel system and if you’re planning on running stock exhaust that’s just dumb shit adds up either way
Do yall think you'll be able to tune the 2022s?
They tune gas 22s everyday, nothing changed
I want to see it with the whipple and nitrous.
Bros got an 11.1L v8 now
Are you offering tuning on 23 models yet?
Dude, shifts sound much much better!
I love diesels but I might be switching after this
Is there a build list on this truck??
