ghostwriting doesn't pay a lot of money, you have to either learn to churn hundreds of pages a day or perish. If you can model any kind of story in your head then you're just moving your fingers. It's not hard.

He's just being a spokesperson for an exercise regime he doesn't actually take part in---that doesn't mean he would necessarily want a bunch of nonsense about himself published which he now has to go along with.
