Please call the language irish in future videos
We drove the WAW south in 10 days.. and it was marvelous! BUT!!!! We've been so busy with driving and making progress that we missed 95% of the local gems..
We experienced the hard way that if you want to enjoy the whole atmosphere of where you are you have to slow down to a max of 50 km a day and take your time.
You better move from county to county and that might result in several returns (What we have in mind)
So.. our advise is, unless time isn't an issue, plan one to 2 county's a week and explore more than beating the trachk of the Wild Atlantic Way end return more often..
Pretty good list ,but they are good few missing like the gleniff horseshoe in co sligo at the back of glencar lough and Doolough valley in south mayo, they are the most dramatic valleys in all of ireland.Other places are achill island which is irelands biggest offshore island though its connected by the mainland,it has even higher cliffs though not easy to get too ,but there is a boat if you don't want to hike.If you haven't the time keem bay on the island is fabulous.
Keem bay is a beautiful place
@@diarmuidkelly1973 Yes but many mix up with keel bay before it which is good too ,but end up missing keem bay because they thought they were there .
@@gallowglass2630 it’s probably because there on achill island keel bay is much more popular but so is keem bay
@@diarmuidkelly1973 Still a pity people leave the island without seeing it
Shleeve Leeg, simple, phonetically correct.
As a Borland (Boreland) I LOVE the mention of Donegal. Thank you!
Great video .. great ideas thanks
And what about the leg of the Wild Atlantic Way, West Cork, just as wild, beautiful and as friendly as the rest?
Phonetically, Sliabh Liag is pronounced Shleeve League. I speak Gaelic, so if you need a hand with the pronunciations, just give me a shout.
Thank you!
Hey hey guess what it’s not Gaelic it’s gaeilge
Dublin the friendliest city...your joking right.
Gaeilge is the Irish word for the language, in the way that francais is the French for French. We don’t say Gaeilge when speaking English. Saying “Irish” or “Gaelic” will do fine.
👍👍👍👍👍. I am suprised that you haven't researched P-R-O-M-O-S-M!!!
