Yes I think it’s the best of both worlds. As a kid you get to go Disney land as soon as a phone drop and in a while you get to be wacky and those are immortalized on CZcams. Still memories. Just that most dads do theirs on instagram.
as a person who records concerts, I always notice that Samsung pics and videos always has a slight blue hue to them... and i love it
still iphone provides a much better output overall

I thought most people said they like the iPhone night photos because it doesn't brighten up the place too much thus making it to look like a photo taken at night. Now it is the one brightening up the place, I don't know what people are going to say now. 1:15
Samsung has not released a full night mode update yet, the last update was targeted towards video and daytime shots. The night mode update is currently delayed. Will you do another update when the full night update is released?
Proud s23 U owner here 👋 I really have high hopes for next couple of generations of phones. The Huawei pura 70 ultra brought some cool new things to the table, next iphones are getting better screen to body ratios and another 12% larger main sensor with improved ultra wide lens too. Not sure what Samsung and folks like Vivo, Xiaomi, Honor, Google, and OnePlus have in store for us. But i am excited to see it. With the next iphones we may have a truly impressive night video. I hope androids will be good as well. S25 ultra could always surprise.

Imo 24 MP iPhone is better at default, night time with rear camera more often the iPhone better than Samsung. The only Samsung's advantage is zoom at 3x and 5x, night time portrait with zoom 3x & 5x, while the portrait with main camera and 2x, the iPhone still better

Ig the night photos of rear camera are better on iPhone. I find the selfie camera better on Samsung in night photos. But its up to preference anyway

Bonjour, très intéressant car tu as fait de très belles photos en basse lumière il y a quelques mois c’était une bouillie de pixels. Les photos de nuit étaient très mauvaises. As-tu retouché tes photos après avoir fait les pauses as-tu activer le mode nuit avec la pause longue ? On dirait que tu as utiliser un .trépied pour faire tes photos pour éviter de trembler.

Avez-vous également mis un auto-timer en mode nuit de trois secondes ou plus parce qu’il y a quelques mois, les photos n’étaient pas belles, Was it a porridge of pixels with grain? Hi! I know my comment will be off topic, but I wanna ask you is there a chance to make a camera comparison between the new Sony flagship and some of its rivals such as the Pixel 8 Pro or the Samsung Galaxy S 24U?
Samsung for me. They just need to focus on videos now because iPhone is still far better at night. Both are amazing phones so just go with what you prefer, it's a win for both the phone users.

@@Carlduran I mean the youtuber said himself the photos on the samsung were better in many ways, and worse in others. I think other than the few, the samsung photos were still nicer. The darker look was far more natural. Although the video still cannot compete.

I’d like to take a lot of photos and videos, was using iPhone 14 Pro and actually bought a Galaxy S24 Ultra… I feel that the iPhone 14 Pro take more consistent photos than the S24U, don’t get me wrong, the S24U produces exceptionally good pictures but it's more a hit and miss on the S24U than the iphone. I think the iphone camera is more fast than the Ultra and that means the final results are more consistent on iphone, more usable. I think I’m not the only one with this issue, also both of my phones are updated to latest.
Switched to 14 Pro Max from S23U (and 7 years of using Samsung flagships). No more blurry photos of moving subjects, no more unpredictable results. You can get great photos on Samsung devices (if nothing is moving) but more then often they end up useless. Take 3 shots of the same thing one after another, you might end up with 3 different results. While on Iphone you pretty much know what to expect. Samsung still has to solve basic things and is far far behind competition (no matter what most of these "honest" reviews and "you can do it in Pro mode" Samsung fans say).
Using the camera assistant on the S24, you can enable 2x high resolution zoom.
Faster shutter speed was one one of the main reasons I switched back to iPhone and it’s massively noticeable

Chinese flagship cameras are definitely better than both of these phones and I say that as a Samsung fan.
In photos, Samsung always wins in night photos, especially the letters on the screens in the iPhone photo, everything is blown out whereas on the Samsung it is stabilized

when was this update? i've been refreshing for a whole month i never got this update on my s24 ultra. i'm getting disppointed with the phone because for the price this phone should've had a perfect camera out of the box.
In early April. Try checking for the update manually in settings, it has improved the cameras a lot.

The iPhone suffers from light reflection, and it is also not good at video zoom. Every device has a strong point, and I do not think the iPhone excels.

Video on the S24u keeps on jittering. Reminds of the S23u video on its early days. Video on the IP15 Pro is perfectly smooth.

Every phone has its strengths and weaknesses, and fighting over what's the best is not good. Both phones are good.
put the video on silent and control your own narrative. then you would know which one is for you. coz there are somethings that I disagree with. I go to a reviewers channel not because of what they say, but just to have access on what they are doing. and in my opinion both are very good no one is really edging out the other. it's all about preferences.
Issues i have with the Samsung phones is inconsistency. Sometime it takes great pictures. Then it turns out horrible the next picture. I learn to accept it for now since my s24 ultra is the only phone I use
10 years after and Samsung still behind in camera… cmon Samsung :(

At this point both phones are equally good, each has its pros and cons but both will give you the best of the best and it seems to me that those who believe that one is better than the other have very little brain.

People always say iPhones takes better video but never really elaborate what they really mean. I'm honestly curious because I think S24 Ultra for example takes awesome videos and even Pixel is really good. For me they take good enough video by a margin :)
I don’t know. I’m an Apple fanboy and always am biased towards their photos, but I found myself liking at least half the Samsung photos more here.

I have s23 and got really jealous on people with ip15 during night concerts. It's so clear and bright while my phone is blinded by lights even wiping the lens.
Samsung needs to tune their camera software better
At this point S24u USP is zooming capabilities with sharper and detailed images but its rear main camera need a lot of tuning to beat iphone

None of these phones takes true to life pictures. If that's what you want Pixel or some other phone is what you want. But honestly I want my pictures to look good, not oversaturated but there's should be some life in the picture.
