@@TotallySilenced do the rgb lights turn off when the computer is off? i ask because other corsair mouse pads stay on even if pc is off and it is pretty annoying especially at night.
@@drago7635 yes thy can stay on or off its up to your bios settings.
Some pc you can have power on usb stay on then lights stay on to.

I think I might buy one. I like that it has 2 USB ports, that's a plus for me. It will help to keep closer my g305's USB dongle, and it will be easier for me to connect a USB stick, or any other USB device, like my phone. Thanks for review.
I got him to now just love RGB combo with full black pad. So looks very nice with out go feels over top
Was between this and the Steelseries 3XL RGB mousepad. Ended up going with the Corsair. Decided that the Steelseries was just too large for my current setup (didn't want my monitor, Xbox Series X, and potentially part of my computer case all sitting on the mousepad)
I disagree that RGB serves no other purpose than style.
In dark or poorly lit rooms it helps you see your keys, helps prevent eye strain and adds depth to your desk.

How's the surface when it comes to liquids or other stuff? I have the ROG Scabbard II at the moment, which has a protective layer for water, oil and dust. I like to eat on my desk so I would like to know how it handels that typ of stuff.

what would happen if you don't put it away when done? I have stringent cable management and it is going to take a good 5 minutes just to run the cable if I buy this.

I just unboxed mine and the RGB strip around the edge really doesn't light up on one side, could it be defective or is it just poor design?

Thanks for showing the issues instead of being a shill like many others. Frankly for the price we shouldn't have to deal with any of these with hacks and corsair shoukd fix them.

Looks nice. But the thing i dont like about all those rgb mousepads is that they usually have 2 lighting zones for the border.
I used an acryllic plate and put a 60LED/m in there to light up the edge and hooked it up to an arduino which is set as a lighting node pro allowing me to control it through iCue. Instead of 2 zones its like 120 lighting zones

mm700 rgb does not light up on startup, I have to unplug and plug again to have the RGB I have to disconnect and reconnect to have the RGB at each start

@@Rooooogboi yeah pretty much. I have a step up part that holds my monitors that’s like 6 inches up, so pad would start to hang off the table toward me cause it hits the step up, if u include the step up it’s probably like 20 inches wide

RGB mousepads just don't do it for me. The inconveniences just aren't worth it for some fancy lights stitched onto a generic cloth surface. Personally I think too much RGB in a setup doesn't make for better aesthetics, though that's entirely subjective.
