    I have those exact bezzles (sp) and sand I brought home from the beach in California from my 10th anniversary. I am so excited to try this. I just subbed and saved this video in my favorites. I am going to try and copy you to step by step and make myself a necklace. I have an entire bottle of sand so enough to make a few mistakes! Thank you so much for this!!!

      You don't need much sand at all. I probably used less than a tablespoon for all of these!!! I hope you make something beautiful!! Thank you for your kind comments and good luck!!

    These are beautiful! But I would say don’t use your bare skin to wipe off any resin, you can build up an allergy to it over time!
    I did my nails for five years with UV Nail gel and just getting gel on the sidewall of my nails or wiping off the sticky layer and getting that on my skin made me build up an allergy.. when I do them now my fingers will itch terribly for days if I get even I drop of it near my skin!
    Idk if this stuff would do the same but just be careful and wipe it off with the alcohol! Happy crafting!

    • @noreasonjustresin
      @noreasonjustresin  Před rokem +2

      Definitely good advice...you can wear gloves if you're super messy. I try not to touch it, but if I do, I wipe it with alcohol on paper towel or you can use a baby wipe.

    I'm curious what that white would look like if you blew on it with a straw to spread it. I've seen that a few times for 'beach' resin creations.

    • @noreasonjustresin
      @noreasonjustresin  Před rokem +1

      Do thin layers and mix the sand with clear resin only. Then the light can penetrate and cure.

    This is a great video thank you! I’ve watched it at least 3 times and read all the comments. I’m still not clear on when to use the UV light …. Are you curing under the lamp between each coat or each application of a different color or just when you sprayed alcohol on the white? How long to you use the UV lamp for? Thank you!

    • @epringle3769
      @epringle3769 Před 6 měsíci

      I went ahead and tried it. Everything has worked like a charm except the cells in the white! I’ve tried with acrylic titanium white in resin and white mica powder in resin, 91% alcohol spritz and immediately cured. No cells ! 😢
      Any ideas?

    • @noreasonjustresin
      @noreasonjustresin  Před 6 měsíci +1

      @epringle3769 I wonder if it needs to be a thick pigment paste. The UV light is to cure. Whenever I use it, I do a full cure, but I cut it out to save time for the video. I cure between layers. About 2-3 mins.

    • @noreasonjustresin
      @noreasonjustresin  Před 3 měsíci +1

      I think 99% would be good too, but I've never tried that. Gotta test it on one and see what happens.

    Why every time I do Au V? Resent poor and it's very very thin. Does it end up sticky?

    • @noreasonjustresin
      @noreasonjustresin  Před rokem

      Could be poor resin quality or incorrect wattage of lamp so it's not curing correctly. I really recommend Let's Resin UV Resin, and they are affordable.
