I am so happy you are back with the 620! The rust is a bummer, but it is still much better condition than my own 620 King Cab is.

It’s good to be back!! Slowly getting there with the rust! Was fed up with it in the uk so was hoping to be ok in Thailand!! Not seen a king cab over here yet. Don’t know if they got them in Thailand might just be really rare.

Great project! Glad to see you back. You can buy replacement floors and just use the section around the mount.

Was the Datsun 620 uncovered all that time? Looking forward to following you on this journey.

Cheers. I bought a cover from Lazada and It looked fine when I bought it but it broke up in the sun. So I think next time I need to invest in one that isn’t so cheap!!😂

WoW been a year already ... Common issue with those engines back in the day here in Australia , Nobody bothered to go pulling the head off , machining block decks or anything else tho . Mostly everybody just added some stop leak sealant to the cooling system and then drove around with the radiator cap loose so not to pressurise the system . This and checking the level every time they stopped for petrol . None of those cars would have had air conditioning and all the obstructions not only blocking air flow but transferring all the condenser heat into the radiator that by the looks the truck has . Maybe converting the system to total draw through from larger fans sucking behind and some actual ducting from the grill area to the condenser etc and sealing the whole lot like any modern car would be far better that the half push and pull system thats in the car , it could have huge cavitation . I had kinda the same issues with a BMW E21 323I with AC due to the cars not really being designed originally for AC and a total lack of any room. No mention of your co pilot from your last trip in this video ?

Some interesting ideas to look into!! Going to take the head off and have a look!! Ac systems are a bit alien to me being from the uk!! But it makes sense what your saying. I’ll look into it further. Also I’m happy to announce Millie will be joining me in a few weeks. She just busy at work at the moment while I get all the messy jobs done!!
