Wow, you are loved! I love that wall art. He/she did a great job. Thanks for all of the beautiful footage. I hope your wood all is delivered before the snow flies. Stay safe and good blessings.
I missed some episodes during the summer. So, I’m going back to play the ones I’ve missed. I really appreciate you sharing your journey. You encourage me. Keep on going…. Don’t ever give up! You’re amazing! I admire you so much.
P.s. beautiful videos!
Last flowers of Fireweed flowers gone means 6 weeks til winter.
Loved making Hoesteaders honey. Fireweed & white and red clover. Plus sugar.
I just got a copy of "The Lost Ways", too! I sat down and read straight through it in a few hours. It's fabulous! I'm always so excited when I see that you've posted a new video. I enjoy watching your progress on projects, and seeing all the beautiful scenery. You inspire me!
Hi Dianna! Isn't that a great book! I am so glad that you are enjoying the channel and following along on my progress. Still amazed that you with all your talents are inspired by me. 🤗💛
I love the Mine. The road on the way there holds a few surprises unfortunately. Beautiful scenery on the fishing trip. Nice job as always!
Glad you got to spend time with your son, even though he brought bananas on the boat. 😂
Have a great week.
Looked like a nice family visit.... glad to see you got some firewood....
Hey sweetie, just an FYI we’re talking about headlamp and it being really dark outside. I have electric pole right in my front yard. And it is so dark on my street that it was alarming. It only cost me $50 to have them put up a huge light on the top of that pole and I spend eight dollars a month in electricity to keep the whole front road in my front of my house my yard everywhere even my neighbors yard lit up it’s really really nice it might be something you wanna think about especially because you have all those predators there, and Lord knows it would be very alarming to walk out in the middle of the night and not be able to see something around the corner. Anyways, some food for thought there and your coloring is looking beautiful.
It's absolutely stunning scenery. Clad your family was able to spend time
Hi alone! Beautiful family and pictures. Glad you got your Toyo heater repaired,i 've just learned how good they are. Looking forward to a new video....😊
I'm so glad your family was able to come up and spend time with you. That is always good for the heart and soul.
I heard you say in another video that the deadline for the po box is November 1st - that's good, because *as usual* I'm running behind on everything this year.
I love that your channel is growing by leaps and bounds. Keep making content and I know people will keep showing up.
Hi Nance! I am lucky that they were able to come up and spend as much time with me as they did. We all had a great time! Yes, I decided that October might have been a bit overzealous as I don't think the roads will be that bad, but who knows. 😉 I am honored that so many people have taken an interest in my life here in this part of Alaska, and love getting to share it with everyone. 🤗💛
What a beautiful and enjoyable video. Thanks for sharing Alone.
Alone: I will be sending one more letter, b 4 u r box is closed, for the season. Good tip on the bananas, great scenes, nice 2 c u r son again!! Good info on the flowers, mushroom, etc. on property. Looks like fall is definitely at u r place. Low's in CO r 50's at night/80's daytime. Hugs to Kenai, stay healthy & safe! U R CO connection.
You said quality content, and I totally agree with you. Thank you for the video.
I really do appreciate you taking us all along with you on your journey. I sure hope some day we all can come to Alaska on vacation. It's so gorgeous there. I'm so glad your son and daughter and the others got to come and visit with you, and I'm glad y'all had such an excellent time together. Hugs and kisses to Kenai. Take care and God Bless you and Kenai always. I'm thankful you and Kenai have plenty of wood and the other heating source.
I watched "Edge of Alaska"! Love your channel. I've always wanted to go to Alaska! So, I'm living vicariously through you.
Hi Sharon! The town of McCarthy seems to have a lot less drama in it then the show made it seem, but I am sure that those visiting don't see everything that goes on. Nonetheless the people there are really friendly, and the town definitely has a true Alaska charm to it. Thank you for the compliment of my channel. I am so glad that I am able to share Alaska and all its beauty with you! 🤗💛
Looks like you had a great time with family!
Hi Beth! Yes, we had a great time together. And thank you for the book. This book has been on my wish list for quite some time. So, thank you for parting with it. I really appreciate the kind gesture and you! 🤗💛
Interesting! I LUV the history of the mine town! It's amazing how early snow comes there! And LUV the wall decor! 🍁
Hi Alone. So glad your heater is fixed and ready.
So hard to imagine you already getting snow when. It's still 90 here in Alabama. Love your videos. Praying you are well. I wish you had someone to help you stack all that wood.
i found you and can’t stop watching your video power to you to name of woman can’t wait for your next videos
Good Morning, what better way to start out the day than with a cup of coffee and an Alone video! So exciting about your ever-changing surprises--in-nature that you're finding over the seasons-I love it for you! Yay, you caught a fish! Only the first of many to come next season! I loved that clip of the boats at the dock-took me back to visiting San Francisco when I lived in the area years ago. I could almost smell that special smell that is only at the seaside. Such a fascinating old town that you'd toured and love the architecture of those buildings. I hope many of them can be saved (sorry I forgot the name of the town) Congrats on getting the oil tank settled and the moving and fixing the fan on your heater too! Will you be re-enforcing or putting in extra locks on that 'new' exposed outside door? Is it strong enough to withstand a curious bear or __ ? ..Never mind, I see the brackets listed on your Amazon wish list.. I love seeing the blessings that your fans are sending you. I agree, you do produce 'quality content'.. Til next time.. Love to you and Kenai
That big band music was too loud oh my. Perhaps I'm a little grumpy no coffee yet.. lovely video
You are grumpy so maybe you should comment after you've had a cup of Joe
Hi Sarah! It may have been a touch too loud. 😉 And I know all too well how a good cup of morning coffee can change everything. Glad you liked the video. 🤗💛
Love the outtakes … ❤
What an amazing life you’re building! The peace must be awesome … 😁
Awesome video of your family adventures. Beautiful Mountains and the flowers that you discovered. Glad that you are getting your wood delivered before the snow ❄️ starts. I’m so happy that you and Kenai love the care package that I sent you. 💖🤗🐶💕🏔️🌸🌺🌺
Thank you for sharing this I do enjoy watching your videos. Such a beautiful place you live in
I love the hoodie and the fact you wear your revolver when out and about.
Thx for another great video. Oh my winter is coming fast... I'm not ready. 🎉🎉
So glad that you took off August to spend time traveling with kids/family/friends! Good for you! And glad you're back. Love your videos, brave woman! Do you.
Hi BC! I hope you don't mind me calling you BC. 😏 Thank you for becoming a channel member. I really appreciate your support of the channel. Be sure to check the community tab on my channel page, as there is a post made for channel members last Christmas, that contains a link to another channel of mine where I have an exclusive playlist of 18 relaxing ambient sound videos that I created. That channel is not active, and the videos are not public but are available for my channel members to enjoy. And thank you for all your kind words. Glad that you are enjoying the channel and the videos. 🤗 💛
Your daughter is as pertly as you are. Keep the videos coming. I am crippled from some accidents and peopel like you living in Alaska is what keeps me going.
Love the wall decor!
I always look forward to your videos! ❤
Your son is to cute, he has your smile for sure. I was happy to see you have some great joy spending family time, its so precious.
Glad you took time to spend with your kida
The otters!!!! love anything you show of them!
Got my interest back in your channel, yay, also glad to see you have fun with family, I’m just so anxious to see your property and cabin progress to the goals you have for it and I know it takes time, stay aware and healthy, hope to see you next week ❤ Grandma Betty
Always enjoy your video time with us!…I believe the fish you were struggling with is Pollack…..pronounced…”Paul-lack” we catch them here in NorthWest BC waters also…that’s how we say it anyhow…. Until next time…looking forward to a few more if you, recipe/cooking skills, always enjoy those also!
Gosh, you have the BEST community members! That Book Of Lost Ways looks fantastic- gonna put that on my wish list! Can I just say how much your daughter looks like you!? Wow- and your son is so funny! So glad to have you back producing such great content! (Secretly I'm eager to settle into winter lol. Man has it been a BUSY summer!!! (With lots more to do!!) 😂😂) Big Hugs!!!
Your hair color looks great on you!!! On my newsfeed it came up a pic of a lady in Alaska with a basket full of mushrooms like what you have growing on your land. I didn't watch it but I'm thinking they must be eatable. Many thanks for all your videos! Had to edit do to leaving out words lol
We live in the banana growing capital of Australia and we often cannot any either!
Wow, that reminds me of my fishing trip here I caught two rockfish and one lingcod out on the boat but then when I went back the next time, the seas were rocky and wild, and I spent five hours just laying there sick don’t ever go out on those rocky seas. It sucks even if you take Dramamine. Oregon Coast, of course.
Happy for you that your son and girlfriend got to visit you. The mines are fascinating. Good video. Thank you for sharing your time.
Perhaps the bananas were to entice the fish to come to land. lol I am still thinking of your sewing room and would love to see what you're sewing during the winter your treadle or hand-crank sewing machine.
Hi Alone, Thanks for another great video. Thanks for sharing your adventure with all of us...
Personally, I don't know why you put those last clips at the end as b-roll. They were great!
Another good one ! Your doing a great job up there thanks for sharing .
Hello Alone, good yo see you again. Someone referred to me as Bad Ass today, as a compliment. Of course, I thought of you, we share some common desires toward hardships
I,am ssssooo proud of you annie..out there at sea in the boat in deep water..hugggg!!! 😅😅
Can’t get enough of your interesting videos thanks Annie
Very cool video. I used to watch that T.V show . How cool.
Great progress on the heating front. Congratulations!
I couldn't help but notice the size of your firewood. It would burn slower with an airtight and if it was only split in half instead of quarters.. Also get some peppermint mouthwash and spray around the base outside of your home will keep rodents out and I use it for toothpaste and mouthwash at the same time. Peppermint affects there sniffing ability. Heard it keeps spiders out as well.
K.
Our weather is exactly the same in the Colorado mountains at 8500ft.
Great video as always Ms Alone! Busy busy! Loved seeing the mining town. Rich Alaskan history! Stay safe and warm!😊❤
Hi Josh! Glad you liked the video and the tour of Kennicott. Love sharing Alaska's history with everyone. Hope all is well with you and your family! Winter is coming! Looking forward to seeing your success on your moose hunts. 🤗💛
@@AloneinRemoteAlaska we're all good hear! Thanks for asking 😊 And you are right! 30s in the morning here😬 winter is closing in! I'm going back out tomorrow for that moose! We shall see!😁❤
So nice to see y'all having a great time !!! Look forward to more of you journey. Thank you for sharing.
Hi Weedeater! Yes, their visit was fantastic! Really had an enjoyable time with everyone here. And glad to have you along for the journey too! 🤗💛
I just found you today. I'm already liking it!!
I use to watch Edge of Alaska!!!! They did talk about.the Kennicott mine. They had wanted to do tours of the mine, but that kind of fell through.
A+ hoodie game! ...defund the ATF
I ❤ Kennicott.
If its the mouthwash with peroxide in it you will always have it handy for infections. Bubbles on a cut just the same.
Miss Alone,
Its great to see another video from you...
Things are changing here for me for the future and beyond.
So no Sasquatch?.....maybe this winter...lol
So many nice gifts
BigT
Love the ATF hoodie!!!
Would you consider doing a review of that book you received? I'm very interested in what you would find most useful. ❤your channel! You help me live vicariously.
Beautiful place you live in
Ha! No Kidding Alone about the Bananas! Every serious fisherman knows No Bananas allowed on the boat. Funny story real quick. Four years ago 4 of my very good friends from Saskatchewan came to visit me. Nephew Justin & I were taking them offshore big game fishing. When we got out of the truck and they were gathering up their stuff I asked them. “Y’all don’t have any bananas do you?” They replied “Yes”. I informed them no bananas allowed on the boat. They broke into their packs and said. “We will just eat them now.” I blurted back. “The hell you say! If you eat them now you will still be carrying them on the boat!” So they left their bananas in my truck and we proceeded onto the boat for the three hour trip offshore to the edge of the continental shelf. Shortly after putting lines in the water we were hooked up to a big Blue Marlin which Melvin, my Saskatchewan White Tail deer guide battled and brought to the boat. I made a video titled “Boys From Big River.” So the moral to the story is. If you want to catch big fish? Leave the bananas on the dock! Loved this video Alone! Thank You for tossing those bananas too!
Hi Bill! I had never heard of the No Bananas "rule" until this boat ride. I do have to say that our luck changed after tossing them overboard...and moving locations. 😏 At least I know now and will be sure to check the contents of all guests' bags for bananas before departing in the future. 😂 Glad you liked the video. Thanks for watching and commenting. 🤗💗🐺
Looks like you had fun.
Another great episode
3:35 Wow that area is so vibrant. What a great time. 😊 14:13 what a beautiful cabinet.
Cool video Miss Annie...😊

Wow cool wall decor
Right!?! And I know exactly where these will go, just as soon as I get the walls finished. 🤗💛
@@AloneinRemoteAlaska did you ever find out who sent them? They are really amazing
Good to see a new video. You finally for a fish! Woohoo. There is a story behind the bananas. If you come in our live Monday I will tell you the story. Most of us mariners know of it. Much love from Sarah me and Zeus.
I just love you.
Love the gifts you received. Looking forward to seeing your new door opening. Thanks again for sharing.
Really enjoyed yet another great video, awesome scenery! So glad you got to visit with your family and that your oil burner is ready to go and you got some wood delivered.
Great view! Wonderful !
Love it great one
Thanks for nice video
Good & better video. Thank you much.
Keep enjoying life it has alot to offer😊
Great video!
Loved the scenery, just can't get enough of it. I watched the series Edge of Alaska and it sure looks like McCarthy has become a tourist destination. Glad to see that your channel is growing, can't wait till you hit 100,000 subscribers. CMQCAA++
Hi Chip! Yes, McCarthy and Kennicott both have become quite the tourist destination. But at least they have not lost their true Alaska charm. 😉 Thank you for the words of encouragement. Some day with any luck, I will hit that number. 🤗💛
Btw i also remember Edge of Alaska
I never would have thought when watching that show that I would actually see the town firsthand. 😉
@@AloneinRemoteAlaska goes to show you. We never know what truly lays ahead for us
Hello Alone! Thank you for sharing this video with us. Loved this video. The fish you caught was pretty cool. So interesting about the bananas. Good news that your heating oil and heater are ready (minus the new filter) for winter. The new flowers around the homestead are pretty. Maybe the cranberries will bring in some wildlife. Looking forward to your next video. Take care! ❤️
Great video! I hope you have time to enjoy some fall weather.
Hi. Nice to see you again. Seems with summer I haven’t watched as many videos. But like you, winter is creepy upon us. New snow on our mountains too, here in northern BC. The old timers always use to say….7 snowfalls on the mtns before it stays. Our leaves are falling as well. Beautiful video, thanks for sharing 🇨🇦🌷
Alone I did the mill tour at Kennecott, it was so good!
Just saw your video love Alaska the scenery is beautiful! I am a senior living in Queens NY so your video is very interesting! Be safe
Whoop whooop cant wait to see video❤

Hi ,, Dave from the UK,, great channel, one question,,, have you ever seen anything strange,,,,,
Happy Saturday! 🍂🍃 So nice being with your family. I remember seeing the series Edge of Alaska. Wondering if it was real or fiction, the opening of the mother lode. I am going on a hike with my two sons tomorrow. We are driving to the Mount Gausta. It's a 3 hrs hike to the top where it is a cafe (Thank Lord) and the entrance to the combined tramway and funicular, which will carry you up (or down) to 1800 meters above sea level. Built by the Norwegian military, it was completed in 1959, the Cold War era, it was a military command center inside the mountain. You can actually see 1/6 th part of Norway from this mountain top. In the winter time it is popular to take the tramway up to the top, and then free ride down the mountain again. Guess me and my old dog will use a bit longer than my two young "mountain goats", and they will have to wait for me at the top. This is the last chance to reach the top before the snow arrives. Expecting snow next week. It will also be the first roadtrip driving my EV. Exciting to see the range of it, climbing up in the mountains. I have noted where the nearest charger is along the route! 😅 Norway has a good infrastructure for EV´s. I was expecting to see you dive into the water at the end there. 😜
👍👍
👍👍✌️
Did you gather those mushrooms? Are they edible?
👍♥️
🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Carryanne sent you a Adult, back to school box… lol…
What about your neighbor, he has to go to town often?
