In today's video I picked up where I left off working on a '69 Mustang project. It was a 1:32 scale Majorette model from Jada Toys. I cut a hole in the hood, put in a blower and tried my best on the paintjob. Things didn't go quite as planned but it still looks pretty good.

Hello my friends, did a little trial and error on the ol' mustang here today. Happy Hump Day you animals. 🍻🍗🧙♂️
Happy Hump Day!
Awesome job that ghost flames is hot. I had a 95 vette Maroon candy with Ghost Flames. I would suggest bleed checker It is worth a try. I have used it once with good results.
Love the ghost flames with blue!
Thanks for mentioning the mistake that happened. Now I have an idea what’s been happening with a few of mine. I put it down to humid weather.
Love the 69 it looks awesome. Start packing and selling those flame templates I’m sure you would sell heaps
With how often you quote Red Green, I’m surprised that I haven’t seen you do the Possum Van yet.. unless I missed it. You could do a variety of the project cars too, as well as figures of the cast. If I can get back into painting again, that’s something I’ve thought of doing for myself. Many of those “malaise era” vehicles are available now and could make your daily videos into a cool mini-series of “star cars” from a TV series or movie. Maybe do a Knight Rider set and cross promote with Knight Rider Historians as a fundraiser to restore the GMC General Semi and Dorsey trailer that they’ve acquired recently.
I like the new logo because it makes it seem like you have a doctorate in resurrecting diecast.
Your paint jobs "gone wrong" are better than my best paint jobs gone right! Nice work!
Austin, having been the the proud owner of a 1970 Boss 302 buying it off of the showroom floor. I love this car, I love the ghost flames and I love the color. My car got rear ended by a dump truck back in Virginia. The insurance company totaled it (a nine month old car). My Dad and I tried to buy it back but it was a no go. Champagne Gold limited edition (they also had a Champagne silver). Damn!!!! Keep up the great work and I'm so glad we're going to see more of you in the near future. Stay safe and healthy my friend.
The Red Green reference 👌. Used to love that show.
Man, this Mustang looks really good, the wheel choice is on point and the disappearing flames, wow!
Mustang looks awesome.. and I'm glad to hear that we'll be seeing more of your builds more often. I really enjoy the channel man!
Mmmmmm Mustang! My grandma drove a 68 in Diamond Blue. I loved that car!
That is Righteous brother! That is one sweet looking ride. Takes one's breath away.
Hope the new job is going well and you are in good health. Miss you and Jimmy. Blub . . . Blub . . . Blub. . .
Never would never had know the mistake had you not said anything. Always impressed with your work.
I like how you did the quicksilver around the window trim but I was surprised you didn't carry it over onto the doors .
Turned out gorgeous, I love the blue, and the clear coat worked great..
The car looks fantastic! Thank you for posting your videos too, as they are very good!
Mustang looks great. Love the Red Green reference.
Love the new logo and that is probably one of my new favorite customs
The flames look awesome, Austin. But what baffles me most is the difference the frames and details make.
Great paint job! Loved the Red Green quotes!
Super Boss Stang, love the color. Love the ghost flames or vanishing flames...👍👍👍..pulling the Green-n-Red outro...lol
Brother this Pony is Bad A$$! Perfect! Ghost flames are spot on!
That 'stang turned ghostly hot. Nice work, looking forward for the next video
Nice job Austin loving the ghost flame effect , looks the business on thar Mustang 👍 👍 👍 👍
Dang you are good at the detail of really making it look like a real car. NICE.
Love this blue. Ghost flames look awesome. Super job
Nice ghost flames (at least that’s what I call ‘em). Great color selection too!
14th thumbs up brother, definitely came out beautiful especially those flames and enjoyed watching it and thanks for sharing it with us and have a great day bro 👍👊😎
Thanks bro 👊🍗
Love the color and the ghost flames. Great job!
you should do a full ''mullet'' style build! Like an old iroc-Z, or maybe a late 70s camaro. Could be awesome i think
I've been using this clear the week it came out. But yes I've had the same bleed too with candy. If you use 4050 with the candy like Chris arpin said you then can use 4053! I talked to him for 20min to figure out what I was doing. The 4053 will BLEED the candy!
Looks awesome 👍
Mistakes are stepping stones. Good luck on your new venture
love the ghost flames, and the new logo.
One of my buddies had an S10 in the mid 90’s with a similar flame scheme they called "ghost flames." Just slightly visible during the day, but at night they would glow in the dark…for about an hour. Haha
Hello. Car looks great. The new channel logo is better. Can't wait to see daily videos.
Sweet looking Stang, those ghost flames are cool
Mustangs!....TheRe Tuff..
What movie ..??
Fine work as allways
Mr Gloves
The ghost flame looks good. It really disappears at the right angle.
Color combo looks great!
I would say that's one of your better ones that turned out sweet
YASSSSS!!!!
FLAMES!!!!
ABSOLUTELY GLORIOUS!!!!
YASSS!!!
@@DiecastResurrection I would LOVE To see more flames with your style.
Even with the mishap it looks great👍
Nice build, details and paint job 👍👍
I'm glad you are back
Looks sublime my man 👌🏽 love the ghost flame effect!
I think it looks fine on the ole rotisserie, I never would have noticed the mess up if you hadn't mentioned it.
The Mustang looks great.
Looks Sweet mate. Hey, maybe the paint needs to properly cure before the final clear coat. I used some rattle can stuff the other day and they recommend 48hrs!!!
Wow Mustang muscle car that is cool custom bro ...love the engine
Those flames and that diecast came out great. Love the learning/trial vids.. especially when they work so well.
so that's how you do ghost flames dude that is bad ass thanks man
There is a cooler way, ill try get into a video soon!
turned out sick buddy loved the red green reference
lovely. love how decent the flames look, and the rest shimmers nicely. I'm not too fond of the Jadas, the wheels are often so big they melt into the engine block. XD the front section must consist of a series of extradimentional spaces.
a long time ago Humbrol came out with tiny spray cans. one contained clear polyurethane. I tried it on Humbrols' gold paint on a little Siku, and the PU washed everything off like it was watercolour... this was mid-80's I think, before airbrushes for modelers and compressors became affordable. at least, to me. :P
Looks great. Was at the Syracuse Nationals this past week at saw a few ghost flames full size. Love the look! Looks great on the Mustang.
That looks pretty bad ass!
About the runs, could you put a light coat of clear first and let it sit for awhile, then put the thick coat on. Maybe that would seal the color in. Idk. Just thinking.
Great job anyway.
yeah I just sprayed it like I do the 2k Urethane and apparently that's not gunna work!
If I remember the video correctly , the guys at Createx said not to use the UVLS over candy paint . For the issue you described. With that stated, my immediate response was what if we put bleed checker in the paint?????? To which I guess they are too busy to respond to my little channel question.....Hope they get back to you on it
Good job with the new graphics 👌🏽
Red Green rocks!!!!
Dig those Ghost Flames 👻 Sweet!
Love the blue
Car looks awesome. Love the trim around the windows etc.
Ghost Flames! Piiiiiiiiimp!
Hell yeah love that blue✌❤
Looks outstanding!!
Nice work thanks for sharing
I love watching your videos you do really awesome work.
Thank you so much 😀
Great work once again!
Hopefully Wood grain with Gold Flake is next!
That turned out really good. I like the contrast of the silver and white under the blue. I'm not sure I'd shy away from the 2k just yet though, still need to test the new stuff on other colors and types of paint.
Also, just want to say hi to Lori Arnett. I don't know who that is, but I see the name so often it's like part of the channel.
Sweet flames
Been a while. Looks great! Love the flames.
FANTASTIC 🔥🔥🔥
Awesome!!!! 🔥🔥🔥😎👍
Almost caught up! Only 6 days behind
So was thinking a possible method to get the flames to stand out more would have been to put half the coats of blue on the car with the flames masked, peel the mask off and then finish off the rest of the coats. Worth a try?
New subscriber simple kustoms by Eddie Papandrea!!!!! Outstanding video!!
Mustang turned out awesome! I wouldn't switch from the 2K, looks a lot smoother imo.
Looks badass
I LIKE IT ....... VERY COOL !!!!!!!
That's really close to the paint job on my Harley. My flames are white and not ghosted.
Looked A1 great to me.
👍 Thx 🇧🇪.
YES!
That turned out to be pretty damn awesome!
Love a 69 mustang!
couldn't really see the flames that well but awesome effort on the car
Keep it up, love your videos...
Awesome!
Did the window but didn't do the door trim. Still looks good tho
Please do the Red Green possum van.
Red Green, lol!
I'm more interested to know about the UVLS's chemical resistence as gasoline drips on a motorcycle tank. If it can handle it I'll gladly switch from 2k to UVLS on my bikes paintjobs.
Miss you vids man
Gone wrong?? I don't think so. Looks sweet m👍😮
Looks awesome brutha
I bn waiting on this since u told me about it a couple weeks ago 🔥
Could you also try making an eddie van halen striped truck or car
sweet!!!
Leart alot from you buddy. Gday from vic australia
Looks way better than the crap I do
