So her brother (the one getting out of the army) and her friend/lover are both named Fred? If that was intentional, I don't understand why. If it wasn't then it seems like a huge oversight by everyone involved in the movie.
@@thelegendofthem6120 I'm not "looking for errors". I heard two different characters named Fred, which shouldn't happen in major Hollywood movie. In any case, how pathetic is your life that you want to start an argument because I pointed out a simple discrepancy? What is wrong with you?
She calls her friend, Paul- “Fred” bc Paul reminds her of her brother Fred. She feels safe with him like he doesn’t NEED anything from her/ she can just be herself with Paul like she could with Fred. The book by Truman Capote has a different ending. At this point in the movie there is nothing indicating that Paul and Holly are lovers.
sometimes i’ll randomly say “you’re talking crazy lula mae"
Holly/Lula Mae is an example of that most thoroughly American of phenomena: reinventing yourself.
“Always bringing home wild things”… But she’ll always be Lula Mae to him. 😢 best scene of all time!
I’m not Stephanie, I’m Lady Gaga.
2:52 stunningly beautiful woman.
I am focused on Buddy ebsen.. it's his premiere performance
Premiere as in first or premier as in best?

Actually her friend's name is Paul Varjak. But she calls him Fred bc he's tall like her brother. Throughout the film she does this as a joke/tease.
