the carbon and hepa filter model in place of the extra bio guard replace every 12 months as stated on their website. If you get the full permanent filter model zero plus they just add extra bio guard filter.
I got two of these Last year and It is a Good Purifier. I did have to return 1 to be fixed at almost the 6 month mark but Both have been running very good and cleaning my home. I Recommend these are Good Machines.
I brought 1 n2021 stop running n2022 I call customer service couldn't get n touch it will ring 4 times & disconnect I will never buy 1 again 600$ down d drain They a joke worst customer service ever

@@nuwaveoven the manual instructions are pretty straight forward but it's a very messy technique. I decided to use a deep rubbermaid container in my bathtub to keep it nice and easy without making a mess in the, probably not so adequate, standard kitchen sink. The electric filter is pretty thick and since it needs to be submerged and shaken, it needs more depth than a standard sink can provide. Also, I've no idea what a mild degreaser is so I went with mean green. No cleaner I know of states mild, it's either a degreaser or it's not a degreaser.

I buy this couple months honestly it was the best i ever buy.. Ya it's expensive.. Like they end up charing me taxes.. I didn't know until they let me know.. Like i Should of finish my last month.. 🙄😒 but end up finding out late now i have to wait another month.. So total $710.58 .. Ya pricy BUT what i love i have a warranty on it.. So if anything happen to it .. I can get another for free 🤗so i like that very much. But you can make monthly payments it's so worth it. Me and my family love it.. Like i don't smell nothing it like kills alll the bad stuff especially if you have pets 🤗
Further more I have a bird and her feather dander can be toxic to humans again highly recommended my house is 1800 Sq ft and it's good for about 515 sqft the wheels are good for mobility it's 42 lbs and it arrived within 4 days I did the payment plan for 105 a month for 6 months 😊

Does the degreaser work for filter #1 as well. If not, how should I clean it. Sad to say I misplaced my manual.

3 to 6 months? When I purchased it it was advertised to last for one year.
I guess it depends on one's house. Every household is different, I don't have pets and I keep my home clean. My filter lasts longer.
I really like it a lot and it works well bu it's so noisy. I can't get it to work with wi-fi and I can't get the company to help me.
