I am so excited that I found you! I have a 2018 SR5 and I have the knobs at the top of the head unit. What one do you suggest for mine I want to keep it as original as I can. Do you have a head unit where the knobs are at the top? Please help also does have a back up camera.

I have a T10. Recent install. The only strange thing that I haven't seen anywhere is that "recent apps" list is along the bottom of my screen. Like my dock on my Macbook. Any ideas as to how to move it to left side like most units I've seen. 4runner 2015. Otherwise I love the unit. Even the bottom location isn't a big thing.

It does but you may lose front off-road camera while off-roading to activate alone . Sub out yea but 4 channel no . People have installed switches and or Y cables

HD radio is built in the oem headunit, once you install this, you lose HD radio. You’re having a tablet and or phone in there, that’s how you need to treat this, who needs HD radio when you have the whole internet and save anything you need directly on this or any android headunit I suggest or make , the sky is the limit, I hardly even listen to radio, except for my morning and afternoon broadcast shows.
Looks good! Is there a fix/setting for the Android Auto to switch to dark mode at night? I am still running the original T10 and have to switch to dark every time.
I think android auto users have resolved that dilemma in the headunit group. I am not an android Audi user so I cannot answer that myself. But I’ve seen multiple posts in the headunit group about that.

So only the V2 will work with JBl because of the harness . That’s why I mentioned in the video that the V2 is still available to buy, but the V3.1 will work with all jbl mo JBL etc
The bezel area around the hazard button is black on stock. Is that a removable cover that can be swapped over to the T10 or are you stuck with silver (aside from painting it or wrapping it yourself)?
@@KingSevI don't mean the whole plastic body. I'm referring only to the around 2" x 3" rectangle that surrounds the emergency/hazard button. On stock, it's matte black just like pieces around the vent dials.

Help please. Just installed unit and the ABS and Traction Control lights on the dash turn on after 1 minute after starting the vehicle and backup camera does not come on. The unit harness does not have the male end RCA. Unit is great so far, so any help that can be provided, will be much appreciated.

This unit can work standalone like your phone does, either you connect to home wifi, or install a SIM card or feed it hotpost to update. You can use everything that you use on your phone, check my other videos of the T10V3:1 first setup and you’ll get the idea.

It’s not about better, it’s the same unit, but more it’s a preference , with knobs vs without. Bigger screen (wider on the V3.1) I like the V3.1. It’s my fave. The V2.1 is exactly like oem. 2020+ Toyota

Considering this unit for my 2024 4R TRD Sport. First: Does it fit 2024? Second: Does it have output for 4 ch amp and a sub amp output? TIA !

@Palmer225 technically speaking , the V2.1 mic is bigger and has gain control. Didn’t have a single complaint about quality of mic (YET)

There is a Wi-Fi/5G socket there, next to the 4G connector. What is it for?
For the CarPlay to connect wirelessly , CarPlay needs wifi and BT to connect. It’s for the antenna wifi . That comes with it.
Question, in the pre 2019 4Runners, can you pause, rewind, and advance the HD radio from the steering wheel controls?

On its own. You can use everything from the headunit natively, no need to even have the phone with you.
