Moterm literally has a video on their website showing the card slot insert WILL OVERHANG on the A8 planner, but I get it sometimes we get excited and don't realize in the moment what we're purchasing

It's a beautiful binder, I'm definitely getting one, but oh does the naming _bother_ me 😂 the A*7* size paper fits perfectly in most mini binders (it's I think 5 mm wider than Filofax mini paper), but is much smaller than the pocket size that Moterm calls A7. The Moterm A9 probably fits, or almost fits, actual A8 paper - actual A9 paper is significantly smaller! I'm assuming this stems from the whole "calling personal size planners A6 size" that's been a problem for years, and in that way it kind of makes sense... Each number is a step down in size. But it's so wrong, it's driving me nuts 🤣 Anyway. Did you contact Moterm about the card holder?? Did they get back to you? That's such a weird situation! (ETA: they've added a warning in the description on the AliExpress page, to say that it's for use is other sizes - "not suitable for regular A8 rings planner". I'm sure many people would just look at the hole count and assume it's mini (I certainly would), and miss the fact that it measures the same width as the external width of the Moterm A8 binder. They definitely ought to put something explicit in one of the first pictures on the product page, imo, or people will still be confused by it)

When you start to add your inserts into the planner, the leather insert will fall in front or behind and it wll be flushed with the planner. also if you look at moterm’s alliexpress the 5 ring wallet card insert was used in planners a7 and up. i did not see it being used in an a8.
Can the a8 be used as cash envelope wallet? I'm really curious and no one really covers the moterm a8. Would bills fit into diy cash envelopes if folded midway?
What was the name of the place where you bought the mini filofax plastic inserts? It sounds like cat espresso which I'm sure is wrong. Did you contact Moterm about the card holder, is it available for a smaller size? I have the filofax mini but need some extra card space :(
I have had exactly the same problem with the card holder! Althought it has 5 holes it's not proper for the A8 size. And not for the Pocket size or Personal size too. I tryed to return it but after 1 month of the quest I still don't have any answer from Motern or AliExpress. Very bad!!!

Yep, it has 5 ring holes, but it was not created for the A8. Moterm website says that the cart holder was created for A5 and A6🤬🤬🤬🤬

A8. The A9 has just 3 rings.
