(Former) Dover Hydraulic Elevator at Erin Mills Town Center, Mississauga ON

This mall opened in 1989. Why they need to remove the clock and replace by giant glass sphere after redevelopment? The mall look nice to me and why they want to do a makeover. Is this might replace the mall elevator? I will miss the mall design right now after makeover. The mall will be major upgrade soon. Otherwise, the elevator is basic. This is my first longest elevator video.
*Update: This original elevator in the Central Court of the mall are no longer there & exist and replace by Thyssenkrupp during the renovation.*

Oh trust me I’ve been in the Erin Mills town centre elevator in 2014 and it was still there
