Lovely in many ways. It is truly a modern home but I admire the flourishes inside and out as it pays homage to the Federalist period for architecture and to John Fremont a giant of a man during that period of California history. There is one huge aside to all that. The patio. Truly a California creation. Two thumbs up.

I thought Hancock Park was a historic preservation zone in which case they couldn't have built a new house.
I don't like the recessed lighting. I also prefer porcelain tile floors in different colors in each bathroom as was done in Hancock Park , Holmby Park and other good neighborhoods in the 1930s. New houses have too much white marble. The back yard has too much concrete and not enough shade trees ,grass, flowers, fruit trees.
This was a remodel and not new construction.

Nice home with no pool needing maintenance. Looks like low maintenance copper roofing too. What I don't like and I see it a lot in homes and that is the use of white. Too much white is being used in homes. This one isn't to bad but I'd have to tone that down. Love the patio and space for entertainment with the open space feeling. Nice mother in law attic space. LOL Once again I enjoyed your video.
