Trevor Noah took her around the world when going on tour performing stand-up comedy and working part-time on the Daily Show as a foreign correspondent.
There were rumours that he and the beautiful physiotherapist were engaged at some point.
The relationship ended in 2015 after Trevor Noah moved to the US to further his career while Dani continued to run her physiotherapist practice in Cape Town, South Africa.
The split was amicable with each one wanting nothing more than the best for the other
Soon after Trevor Noah moved to New York, he started dating singer and model Jordyn Taylor.
The couple dated for four years before ending the relationship. It was Jordyn who announced the split on her Instagram in response to a fan's question.
Though it's not clear why the relationship ended, they have maintained their friendship
For the past several months, The Daily Show host is in a relationship with actress Minka Kelly
Due to Covid 19 pandemic the couple managed to keep their romance under the radar for a long time
They both live together in his Manhattan apartment and are now rumoured to be house hunting.
