Bro you should really look into the 20 hp imposed twin magnum from the 80s. Those thing already are pretty snappy. Beautiful tractor. Intended use...killing Honda civics.
The problem with opposed twins is they are very expensive for parts and parts are becoming harder to find where as these vtwins are very affordable and run better in some ways
@@hunter7476I bought a mini truck with a Kohler Magnum 18 boxer engine, and looked up parts for the engine. Engine will most likely be recycled as scrap next summer even if it runs because if it fails at some point it wont be worth the money restoring it :( Shoehorning a VW 1.9TDI or an Audi 2.5TDI in there instead if it fits.
Building a 35 cube Vanguard Rt now, what's your cam profile your running in the kohler I know it's they make reversed port cams for different applications as well plus taking advantage of the larger ports as well on the exhaust side. But just curious of who makes the cam or the rough profile of it. I know it's usually a trade secret, Hmu if you don't want to post it and I'll give ya my personal info. Compression sounds pretty high as well. But on alcohol that's not a issue really, otherwise absolutely sick sounding response and idle is bad ass nasty! I love it man, nice job on the whole deal! I don't tractor race anymore but building a V twin small block for a Golf cart. Old guys like suspension, you'll see one day lol.
The most popular Kohler engines are about 720cc, as this was the upper limit for displacement in the USLMRA rules. The most recent iteration of the rulebook actually eliminated the displacement limit, so engines can theoretically be any size now.
Itâs very possible itâs 120hp. Itâs a Kohler vtwin. Anywhere from 700-800cc engine running billet parts, alcohol, and some very expensive carbs and tuning.
Yâall are all wrong. Thats probably a ch30 kohler v twin running on alcohol, and fully billet internals. Itâs absolutely possible that itâs making 120hp. They use these engine in tractor pulling and make 120 hp.
That cam is sick! I dont even recognize it as a kohler engine anymore

@@hunter7476yea but run super smooth because of how they were designed

I bet you can put this in a small car like an Austin 7, Fiat Topolino, or a Hillman Imp, and itâll shove the car along nicely.
I'm in love đ. Wow dude.
Mantap bang... saya juga lagi proses bikin go kart..đđđ

HOW CAN I REACH YOU? I WANT SPECS AND PARTS FOR THE BUILD.
Hey man, do you have a business or website. I would love to get some info about these builds.
love the build but i would move the pipe so the right carb isnt intaking exhaust fumes and warm air
â Where do you Raceâ Are there any video'sâ
What kind of clutch are you using
that is insane that this engine could literraly power a car xddddd
If it's not a secret, whats the bore stroke on that thing? Sounds good man đ€

@@FordGTmaniac. Can you help me with info on what to get and where to buy it so I can build my own
Hey buddy Iâm interested in the motor. I was told the Vanguard was not reliable. How is the Kohler? Can you pm me? Iâm building an FXT.
The only thing that came out of a lawnmower from that thing it the back fender and the very front peice đ
*the engine* it's not a motorcycle engine. I'm glad it is more go kart than mower for that kinda of hp

@@ftlw1433 I can kinda see it now after a years worth of work in the garage. Maybe on alcohol with super high compression and aggressive timing đ€
