This is EXACTLY the kind of thing we want to see in Eurovision. The way he was disqualified was disgraceful. It's so sad that we won't be seeing him on Saturday, he would have rocked that stage with his talent and charisma.

@@Aristophanes__ Jann won the televote by a landslide, with close to three times as many votes as Blanka, but the jury (that sprang up days before the final and consisted partially of Blanka's stepdad and the owner of the dance studio where her dancers come from) chose her instead. It's a nepotism scandal, basically.
I just can't believe that we could have had this amazing song in the grand final and what we got instead was that "solo solo" crap

@@Aristophanes__ I don't like the juries in general because they're prone to corruption like that. It's not a rare occurrence for them to choose the worst song in the national finals for whatever reason, but Poland's case this year was outrageous. I can't help but wonder if there were more reasons behind it other than nepotism. This performance and Jann's whole artistic persona leans towards gender nonconformity and could be perceived as queer by some, so he couldn't possibly be chosen to represent a notoriously homophobic country (the government, not the people).

The outrage of Polish viewers led me to check this artist out. He's incredible! Such a shame he won't be performing for the final, he would've gained lots and lots of new fans. Safe to say he's at least made one new fan over here in Germany ✌️😗
The best part is, not many even in Poland heard about Jan before his submission to Eurovision elimination.

This most likely would not had qualified to finals as anyone why might potentially voted this instead would still more likely preferred Serbia's Spava which had more interesting lyrics and more interesting performance and more unique sounds. This song is an absolute mess. I'm hearing clearly picked up musical passages from System of Down, from Eurythmics, someone more musically literate likely can find many others, and it's all mushed together into one poorly performed peace. Not to say that Beijba is more original it also isn't but it's less of a mess and more consistent.

I really liked Solo and when I saw comments of people like: “Jann is better” “Poland could’ve won with Jann”, I decided to give it a listen and OH MY GOD! Is the Polish jury deaf???!! This dude is the definition of TALENT!
Beijba was decent choice. This song wouldn't even had passed to finals. Proof is Serbia's Spava performance that barely made it despite being much more captivating performance than this with much more powerful message. This song on other hand has no message at all and is rather as empty as Beijba. Serbia thus likely would had stolen all potential voters as this is coming from rather similar subculture.

It's a good song but we're talking here about song competition thus we need to consider how song could be perceived by masses and who would have potential to vote and who wouldn't and since neither Serbia nor Germany didn't do well it's clear than Jann wouldn't do well either and most likely would be far lower than the mentioned two considering that overall this song is much less developed.
By far the strongest song & performance, think this would have had a really good chance to go to the top of it won. He's fantastic. Big mistake Poland, you should picked Jann to represent.

The juries were corrupted and didn't let him win cause TVP rigged the show for Blanka cause she works for them but TVP revealed the televoting results and Jann won it with 18k votes while Blanka got 2nd place in televoting with only 6k votes.
That shows you - we Polish Eurovision fans really wanted Jann and him only.

@@esme6346 thank you for helping, I'm glad that so many of us started protesting in a way for the first time ever so we made rest of Europe see what's going on in our crazy country. Literally TVP took all the money from us that we've sent for Jann as votes (he won the televoting with a landslide) and still set it up for someone else, I feel like robbed and I'm so sad most of Europe won't see this at Eurovision from us cause maybe that would give them a new look at us as a nation. Althought TVP just showed that their corrupted and unfair by rigging it for someone else in a perfect way like this is just gonna give Europe a worse view at us...
Atleast the best thing happening right now is Jann getting pretty famous since Sunday, like back on that day he had around 9k followers on Instagram and now he has almost 80k, 'Gladiator' gained over a million views in 5 days, popular artists in Poland discovering Jann and promoting him cause of his performance in the National Final, 'Gladiator' is also number #1 on 'Top 50 Viral Hits - Poland' and 'Top 50 Poland' on Spotify 🤯 and the most crazy thing is that the petition to get him for Eurovision instead of Blanka got signed over 50k times, like wow how?! I know Jann is already fulfilled as an artist and he is the real winner, he won a lot of fans after Sunday.
