    0:40 Thats a bug. If a unit has the debuff from a destroyed tower, shoots and dies right after and the projectile is still in mid air, the projectile does full dmg instead of the nerfed dmg.

    I'm starting to think if the projectile is in the air and the unit died, the tower debuff suddenly doesn't apply anymore.

    Missile interceptor being a tech also means only one missle needs to land to turn off the stormcaller defense tech if you buy EMP

    0:40 Same bug as with the Stormcallers. The Marksmen was dead as the shot landed, so full damage.

    i find the best use for SC to be when they least expect it.. mainly round 5 or later. drop 3 at a time and you could end up knocking your opp's HP to 0 quickly

    Stormcallers just completely dominate ground play. When there's 2 having slow units hurts. Any more any they become unviable eliminating half the unit roster. Then if they get the fire upgrade all chaff become worthless, and you're down to like 6 usable units.
    They can be managed, but not really countered and they require a disproportionately exacting answer so they don't get too much value.
    Also they make me salty because sledgehammers are my favorite unit.

      extender range sledge hammer + sledgehammer spam works wonder against stormcallers ! ;)

      High level sledge with field maintenance are just small and tough enough to shrug off some stormcaller fire. Can get kinda rough, but they along with steel balls make good heavy chaff against stormcaller when spread wide.

      @@dtly50 if i have the chance to get extended range early i go right into mechanical rage, then range, it ravages chaff, then the stormcallers are easy targets

      War factory seems to work enough at my level (1000 to 1400) where storm callers might be built very early, and clearly are the easy answer for anybody feeling in trouble. You have to win some with time with tricks and spells, and also save some credits, but its possible to build a war factory with anti missile early enough to survive a storm caller abuse, like from round 5 ~ 6.

      field maint counter storm callers, the missile interceptor isn't 100% effective but takes away 90% of callers DPS, subterranian blitz makes crawlers survive fire, mobile beacon, shields on fortress, they can't target air at all.
      Unit positioning is the big one, storm callers punish agro blobs so you can't just blob up like we've been doing for the past 2 patches.

    Honestly I think its a problem with the game. When in doubt stormcaller and you will likely win. Especially since they get access to EMP which makes repeat strikes and blanket anti tech super easy

    Your first opponent could've survived longer if they picked up missile interceptor for the stangs + getting more stang packs instead of buying a single war factory, that was one insane misplay
    EDIT: Both of them could've missile interceptor stang'd that lmao

    I wonder if just nerfing the Player HP damage stormcallers do could help reign them in a little. Since they are backliners they are usually among the survivors, so each one hitting for 100hp stacks up quite quickly. They´d still be usefull but you might get more time to outplay them if you dont die after 2 rounds

    idk whats the whinnying about storm callers u had 4 units of stormies with overload, range and fire dont u think spending 200 supply to shut down ur 2000+ supply army a bit imbalanced would be?

    Well, we know what happens when they removed Stormcallers. The meta was not healthy.

      @@CobStrategy Well, no. I meant when they introduced Interceptors before they nerfed them. Stormcallers where unplayable and the meta was garbage because Stormcallers are pretty much the unit that makes most other units exist without being too strong and overpowering.
