- I'll help FIX YOUR GAME! I have ALL THE FIXES compiled in this video along with detailed instructions on how to FIX YOUR GAME.
I did make this video previously, but it had some things in it that I was unaware CZcams would not like. So I've edited those bits out and this should now work!
I was asked to make this video a number of times, but none has pestered me as much as my little Twitch friend, David. So here it is for you, my dear little Voicu!

(HUGE APOLOGIES for the webcam and audio quality; I used 3 different webcams during the making of this video and all 3 went wrong for various reasons. Please ignore the audio issues đ I have been trying to make this video since October 2022 and so many things went wrong that I've had to piece tons of footage together. I point blank refused to film it all again this month, using my brand new webcam. Hopefully it all comes together to help get you this INCREDIBLE GAME!!!)

My favourite of all games that I have ever played, my sincerest wish for Sims 5 is that it is literally 'THE SIMS 2: REMASTERED' with the Sims 3 colour wheel, an open-world, horses, all the life stages we had in Sims 3, and I want the Sims 4 CAS & Build mode. Not too much to ask, is it??? After all, shouldn't a later version build on all the successes of previous versions in a franchise? Don't even get me started...

I prefer to combine challenges for increased difficulty. Then I play the same challenge in Sims2 and Sims3, and come up with the rules for those challenges. Fun huh?!

@@SkunkAnimations it is insanely good, this EP. It changed my game style completely. And you can have cars belonging to your sim if you build them a garage within their house! It works so much better than sims 4 apartments, which I knew would be the case, but hope prevails Every. Single. Time. and lets us down Every. Single. Time. đ€Ł
If your sims are idling too much, there are a couple of simulation lag fixes out there, one is by CarlSims4Guides, and I think SrslySims has one too, and in the description for her mod she mentions another that wonât conflict with her one. I think itâs her đ€

I totally agree, Iâve been going mad these last few weeks since For Rent came out cos itâs totally broken my game!! I said in my stream yesterday that I was contemplating going back to sims 2 again! (For the hundredth time) đ
Also, a little mod to make your sims get about a bit quicker: Triplis portal mod. Out turns doors into portals so they appear quickly in another room and donât take 2 hours to walk from the top of the house to the basement. Itâs incredible! Thereâs also a few people who make seems perform less idle interactions, but Iâm not sure which one is best, to be honest. I know CarlSims4Guides has one
Havnt been able to play SIms 2 properly in over a year, crashs all the time, finally decided to try and fix it, havnt had much luck...until I found this video omg thank you ;-;

fr I 100% agree, idk if its a hot take at this point but I love Sims 2 so much more than sims 3/4, it just has such detail and easier maneuvering in the game. I do Love the others for their own things that they do, but Sims 2 just has so much more character @@bigcuppagirlsims7111
Just came across this video I stopped several packs into sims 4 it is just empty compared to sims 2 so im always trying to find sims 2 content creators but there doesnât seems to be very many these days! Iâve fixed my resolution but I never heard of the rest so I couldnât figure out why it would crash randomly and be fine other times thanks so much!

I have Sims 2, 3 and 4 and Sims 2 is my favourite to play. I found deleting my thumbnails each time before I play stops it crashing.

Hi, I really like your style and I think I got the 4gb patch installed but my game still crashes when entering CAS - do you have any good fixes or ideas as to how to tackle this? Thank you so much in advance!
Iâve not heard of this, so Iâve never had to fix it. Iâve had it crash when Iâm creating families, so I tend to save each sim as I create them in the sim bin and then add them altogether later. Another thing is to not bother choosing clothes and do it later through shopping.
I just thought of something else. You could just create them one by one and then add them to families later using the sim blender. Itâs a mod you have to download, but it works better than any of the spawnable items in game
I have a family in a lot I made and everytime I try to play it it crashes/ only that family doesnt work. all the other does.

Have you tried moving them out? If you have and it still crashes, you could try moving them out individually by befriending them with another sim and asking them to move in one by one. Other than that, you can package them and then reinstall them to your game. I can show you how if you need help doing this, just reply to this comment. I'll try and remember to come on YT more often!!
Hey darling,I have the same setup as you but I couldn't find the latter of the ikea thing you told me to download just the 4gb patch and the graphics ruler which I already applied and still it did nothing for me.

hey can someone help me out why my sims 2 keep crashing even though iâve followed the steps already?? pls
I sadly still couldn't get it to work(except in Window mode) the new Resolutions never come up for me to choose I've used both the 4gb patch and GRM with no luck. It seems like the game gets confused because I have a Laptop with a little Graphics card but also has Graphics on the CPU and the game just can't figure out which one to use.
So it jumps from one to the other and won't give me any other graphics options except for 600x400 or whatever that first yucky one is.
Iâm sorry it doesnât work for you. I donât get why it being a laptop with small graphics card would be a reason, because itâs probably still a better computer than what we had 20 years ago đ
I guess the double graphics issue is what is confusing the game. It has to be that, and I canât see how to fix it
@@bigcuppagirlsims7111 thank you for helping regardless, Iâve been able to get the Sims 3 to work if I limit the FPS cause if not it tryâs to run it at like 500fps and my laptop sounds like an engine lol
what does it mean if your game loads but when you open the furniture tab it crashes?

I don't have local disk instead I have windows and even when I go into the program files The Sims 2 folder is empty so I can't apply the 4gb patch. Do you know how to fix this? Also, anytime I press on Sims2EP9 it just starts the game.
I suggest watching a tutorial from acottonsock if you havenât already!
What do you mean you don't have local disk? I have windows too. It doesn't make sense to me that the program files folder is empty either, unless the files are locked?
Ep9 is the mansion and gardens, which is the last ep, and itâs an executable file, so thatâs why it begins the game for you.
This is better than sims 4 for sure but did you heard about inzoi and life by you?
those 2 will come out soon and they are like sims
Aye, Iâve done a video on Life By You, but not on inzoi or Paralives yet. I canât wait fit those to come out! Weâre having major internet issues at the moment so I canât live stream or upload any videos. Itâs very frustrating but Iâm hoping to get it all fixed soon.
I accidentally deleted the ikea folder and pasted the new one in. Is that going to bug my game?

Do you need the Graphics Rule Maker? Because my PC doesn't like it and keeps deleting it because it's 'unsafe'
Actually, I used to go in and alter them myself...until someone showed me the GRM, so you could do that? All the info to do it is online, I'm sure there's even a video on here how to do it...I'll have a search đ
