thanks for the help but sadly it still dosent let me load up and i have no mods just regular sims and im quiet sad about this i always start up on steam but it wont even let me load up anymore im scared if i delete my game it will delete all my progress and my gameplay !

I have a proposition, ea should make this their new base game update so it's gonna be much more realistic and accurate when you want to recreate someone irl. I think they should use the same mechanics as the build mode, like with the roofs, usually if you were to resize the roof it would resize both sides of the roof, but if u hit ctrl and then resize it would only do one side you're resizing on. that's gonna work the same way with the slider in cas, just hit ctrl while ure using the slider and it would only effect on one side of the face!!!

I sadly still couldn't get it to work(except in Window mode) the new Resolutions never come up for me to choose I've used both the 4gb patch and GRM with no luck. It seems like the game gets confused because I have a Laptop with a little Graphics card but also has Graphics on the CPU and the game just can't figure out which one to use. So it jumps from one to the other and won't give me any other graphics options except for 600x400 or whatever that first yucky one is.

what does it mean if your game loads but when you open the furniture tab it crashes?

This is better than sims 4 for sure but did you heard about inzoi and life by you? those 2 will come out soon and they are like sims

I have Sims 2, 3 and 4 and Sims 2 is my favourite to play. I found deleting my thumbnails each time before I play stops it crashing.

I recoded those fur coats for winter wear, also the men's coats that come with the Luxury pack.

Modders are so talented. I don't have a lot of them, mostly I go looking for them when EA breaks the game yet again. Like "fixing" something no one wanted fixed (Photo relationship) but at the same time never fixing the toddler reward traits or plants reverting. Twice recently we were told gardening was fixed and twice it has shown it is not. I have legitimately not played Realm of Magic except for my twin spellcasters for my Mystical Motherhood challenge, so not much. Twisted Mexi's Dual Wedding System is a must have if you have My Wedding Stories. This way you can have a basegame wedding with MWS stuff. So much better that way. I might need to get more into modding it, but I've never really felt the need. I love seeing all the creativity.

This fixed my issue with apartment life! Thank you so much :D I was trying so many things to fix it, even went playing for ages without it because it kept making my game crash. But this fixed it! THANK YOU

I use a ton of mods and CC have all these mods except Lot51. I have used them in the pass but my game wasn't updated and they didn't work or they were conflicting with other mods. I don't update my game until i have to for a pack. I did have the internet mod in the beginning but at the time when i went to community lots my DJ booth didn't play music, either it was a problem at that time or i didn't do what i was supposed to do. I have his site bookmarked on my computer. I'll have to go check them out again and read this time😊 before the coming update, not sure if I'm getting For Rent. I have made apartments for years with Littlemssams lock doors mod. I agree that EA does take modder ideas and use them and they are never as good as the mod. I've been using mods and CC since The Sims so i know the feeling about playing a vanilla game.

I'm planning on resurrecting my best TS2 Apartment Life builds. I have a GORGEOUS trailer park.

The main thing behind adult sized teens (vs 2 and 3 where there was a difference) is that EA is growing lazier and greedier by the year. So a TS2 or TS3 teen needs different animations to cook than an adult, but a TS4 teen does not. They also have different clothes. Now in TS2 some of the teen clothes crossed over into YA (Uni) and some YA clothes crossed into adult, but teen and adult couldn't cross over. You could recode any YA clothes for adult and elder with SimPE, I believe. I have a lot of adult clothes for elders because it never seemed fair that my elders who had max fitness couldn't have a good bra or girdle keeping everything looking tight.

Havnt been able to play SIms 2 properly in over a year, crashs all the time, finally decided to try and fix it, havnt had much luck...until I found this video omg thank you ;-;
