Quark (sometimes translated as plain curd) is creamy, rich in protein and like a mixture of cottage cheese, yoghurt (but without the probiotics) and skyr, so still somehow counts as breakfast youghurt😉

This is one of my all-time favorite vlogs! I absolutely loved your beautiful sky, the garden park, your dancing there and everywhere else, the sightseeing, the food and hanging out with Regan!
Within Europe, Germans, Dutch, and Scandinavians in particular are superstars about learning English - so speaking their native language is probably not necessary but it's cool that you try.
English speakers are usually hesitant to try because we think will pronounce something wrong and inadvertently offend someone or get laughed at. That's why it always amazes me when people from other countries want to practice their English! If they make mistakes, they say thank you, and they learn from it!
For Netherlands and Scandinavia, their populations are small enough that US/English movies and TV shows get subtitles. Apparently, the little kids already start to learn English because of this before they even start school!
The German-speaking population is one of the largest language groups in Europe, and their US/English entertainment is dubbed by German-speaking voice actors. This may have changed with streaming, though. I've seen more of the new shows having German subtitles.

Yes! This year I definitely want to make more of an effort to learn more of the languages of the countries I go too. I think it is so nice to learn more about the culture, and the language is a huge part of that!
@@HannahMartinRG people in non-English-speaking European countries tend to be absolutely charmed by foreigners making any attempt at all to speak their language! 🙏😎💚🦋

I was german, and most germany frankly just sucks. a few places in Hamburg are probably a little better 🤭 the two of you made it a better place while you were there ☺️ thanks for showing that nice dancer shop! loved your choices and how it looked on you - gonna have to remember it when passing through Hamburg :)
I really didn't mind it! I especially loved the food options there, even if it was a little pricy!

Quark and yoghurt are not the same! Joghurt is the same everywhere, Quark is hard to explain 🤔 it’s available with low or almost zero fat, medium fat or cream quark, and it’s very healthy, pure protein🤭
The Germans eat this a lot. I have seen it in the UK occasionally.
I love it!! I wish I could find it in the supermarket here!
@@HannahMartinRG Waitrose ,Sainsburys and Tesco do their own label. The health food shops would probably have some and Aldi and Lidl stock a lot of German stuff so you may find it in there. I have seen it on the shelves over here.
@@HannahMartinRG Morrisons has got it as well. It is classed as a soft cheese so it may be in that counter.
