- Firstly, I'd like to say - hosting this has been such a privilege, and I'd like to thank every participant for being apart of it!
When I uploaded the call back in November of 2020, I never could have imagined that this would be the end result - and I hope you all enjoy it as much as I have.
What is this MAP about? Beloved is a Warriors AU in which cats that have passed are given time to say goodbye to their loved ones before they ascend to Starclan, in short!

This is like a try not to cry challenge at this point- the one with squirrelflight staying with someone (i can't tell who they are) all day when they died broke me

3:50 this little scene where squilf is happy to see them, and then goes to crying right away breaks my heart
What is the name of the cat that died in this scene? I have not read warrior cats, but I want to know more

It’s Shrewpaw, the only cat who truly loved her right from the start. He died in the second arc 💔
Sometimes I forget squirrel flight had a crush on shrew paw
This AU alone is what everyone wants to do when someone they love passes

The parts that really got me were of Ravenpaw visiting Barley, Firestar, and Graystripe and it showing their old life together. The nostalgia hit me hard. And the part of Squirrelflight mourning Shrewpaw all day and night. God, the part where she breaks down at the end broke me.
How does an animation about feral cats cause more emotion in me than a sad movie 😭

Squirrelflight and Shrewpaw made me SOB. The way her face breaks!
The way squirrel smiles then frowns is heartbreaking
The part where Squirrelflight was sitting with Shrewpaw was heart wrenching. The animators did a very good job to express the emotions👍👍👍👍👍👍
I LOVE that Ferncloud is shown a lot in this map. I love her so much!
Oh no, Squirrelpaw sobbing even more when she sees Shrewpaw made me cry as well
”Oh, hi Needletail. NEEDLETAIL?!” is a very Alderheart thing to do
I sobbed. and snowkits little paw killed me it’s adorable and I wish before my grandma left I could be able see her it’s the most beautiful map ever.
Gosh! I love the underrated relationships in this! Sootfur and Sorreltail? Micah, Cow and Mouse? Ashfur and Ferncloud? Squirrelpaw and Shrewpaw? I love it! And gosh this AU is so cute. A bittersweet goodbye

The skill level of all the participants in this M.A.P. has shown me I have a lot to aspire to. The way everyone was able to convey a clear message and rich emotion really showcases their creativity and passion for their art. For the frame-by-frame animations, I was blown away by their fluidity. Even the tweened moments of PMV were smooth despite all the changing parts. I also loved all the different effects people put on their StarClan cats. Like, everyone had their own style of making them seem mystical. The backgrounds were amazing because whether they were highly detailed or not, you could tell how each one was tailored in the artist's unique style and their chosen characters felt a part of them. Everyone was incredible in this.
Even though, this is not my first M.A.P., this is my first -completed- M.A.P., so it will become a special memory for me. Thanks to the host and fellow creators for giving me this opportunity.

I didn't expect that this map was finished when the final part was done, so long waiting for this. Everything look so beautiful, thank you for letting me participate in this
This entire MAP was incredible, but Ravenpaw's & Squirrelpaw's parts absolutely broke me. Especially the latter. I will NEVER get over the loss of Shrewpaw, it's one of the few scenes that made me genuinely sob when I read it for the first time.
I love the moonflower and bluefur and snowfur its amazing since there my favourite cats

And 4.20 is snowfur and whitekit aka white storm
I cried watching this video because it reminded me of my dog Hindo who died 12 days before this video came out. But it also reminded me that he died knowing he was beloved
When I clicked on this MAP I was not expecting to cry. but I did. I cried. I was fine (if a bit sad) until it got to the part where Ravenpaw started saying his goodbyes to Barley. I was tearing up but not crying. It wasn't really until he runs all the way to the lake to say his goodbyes to Firestar and Graystripe that I legit started to bawl. Heck, I'm tearing up again just thinking about how they never got to say their last goodbyes in canon. I'm glad to see it happen here.

Daisy's reunion with, Toadstep, Hazeltail, Rosepetal and Berrynose was sweet, hope nothing happens to Mousewhisker.
oh my god I'm legit tearing up over this it was such a nice surprise to learn this MAP has finally been finished!! Thank you so so much for having me in this bittersweet project, ive been anticipating it for a very long time, and everyone did such a fantastic job on all their parts
The one thing I think about when I see this map is "if this was in warrior cats, maple'shade would be able to say some last things to her kits"

This is amazing. It would have been so sad in the books if their ghosts came back right after they died. But, at the same time, it would be so cute to see them say bye to their clan mates and friends one last time.

I can't stop crying, I needed the desc to help with the cats but the cats were what made me cry...

Ahhhh I missed the premiere! This map was so gorgeous, all the participants map parts were gorgeous and I could tell all the hard work that went into this. This map is probably one of my favorite maps I’ve participated in! Thanks again for letting me join this amazing project!

This was really hard to watch, I grew up with warrior cats and I loved each and every one of the people cats, they inspired me to do most of the things I do now
Watching 3:50 broke me. Seeing Squirrelpaw cry happily as her friend comes to say goodbye and then she breaks down crying with him knowing that he has to go. The bittersweet moment is so beautiful and I wish this was canon.
