    Can you post a video tutorial on the analysis and differences between using Phases and Design Options. How do they use respectively. More Power to you Sir. I am torn between this two features of Revit. Hope to hear from you regarding my inquiry. Thank you in advance.

    Do you just 'Duplicate' the Level 0_Existing and rename it Level 0_Proposed and then set it to 'New Construction' phase to be able to work on it without it doing changes on Level 0_Existing?

    Great tutorial! One thing I want to clarify is I have got an 'existing plan' in the existing view e.g. Level 0_Existing, I realized that I have to first highlight all my walls, doors, window, tags etc then go to 'Phase Created' to change to 'existing' in order for everything to appear (walls, doors, window, tags) in the view, when I tried to change the 'Phase' to existing. For example: If the first step is to change to existing in 'Phase' everything has went disappear, I figured out that I have to highlight everything in the view then go to 'Phase created' to change to existing for everything in the view to appear. Please let me know if I have done it correctly or if there is another way to do this differently.
    Thank you.

      It actually depends on phase filter, make sure that the phase filter in your existing view is set to show all, you can control filters from Manage tab> phases> phase filter.

    may i ask you a question? So if i use demolish tool with a element in existing phase = delete , right?

    • @bimscape
      @bimscape  Před 7 lety +2

      +tùng lâm phạm No, it's not the same as "deleting" the element. If you actually "delete" an element in Revit, then it's gone forever. "Demolishing" it, is really just applying a visual filter to it- to hide it in certain Phases. Much more powerful and flexible than Deleting.
