- The lead up to Genesis 9 had a lot of people questioning, but after the dust settled only one person stood at the top, and that was the one and only MkLeo. Sit back and relax as we go over what the HECK happened in Top 8 of Genesis 9, and the monstrous journeys our heroes took to get there!
Also there's a slight mistake with the Tarot Card visuals with two of the cards on screen being incorrect, Sparg0 is “The Kid/Child” Tarot and Acola is “The Star” Tarot (The voiceover is correct), sorry gamers

To those who are wondering why the tarot cards on screen are different from what they’re called in the video:
I was the person who made the tarot card graphics so I can give some insight on how this all happened,
I was asked by Trash Day to create the tarot cards with the titles corresponding to the video.
During the process I looked into the meaning behind tarot cards to see if I could give each one a subtle hint to the players’ their legacy’s, when I sent them later and asked for feedback I was told they were all good so that’s how we ended up here. I assumed the Voice Over wasn’t done yet and would be changed so yeah, my b 💀
What is crazy is that no character from this top 8 appeared twice !
And if you look at their frequency in Oryon rank 2022, for Steve you have 6 mains and Wario and Cloud are the only two who characters from this top 8 to have only 1 main from the top 100. So having this diversity at the very top is kind of crazy

It's great to see a Genesis recap. I was so proud of MuteAce this tournament. If he wasn't exhausted by Grand Finals I wonder if he could've taken it, and he still took a game in both sets.
Sadly with his condition it was not just him being tired, and it is Leo we are talking about, I’m sure he would have won if Leo lost to light or who ever but Leo is to clutch and adapts to well, muteaces worst nightmare in that situation and his medical condition. I’m a big Leo fan and all but respect muteace some much. With that said that was peak Leo at the end so it made sense why he lost.

Question: What happened to the Pgstats team
Bruh even if you gave us quick 30 min recap of big tourneys without the extra stats would be nice. I think like other people have said when I think pg stats I think of you for últ and Walt for melee
The more and more I think about it, the scarier tweek becomes. He keeps having apiphenies that transform his performances, and his versions keep leveling up as time goes on. His lows keep being higher than before, and pretty soon I think sparg0 would be the only person capable of stopping him.
He's lifted the Leo curse, beating him the last 4 or so times in a row.
Acola is really good, but he's playing a gimmick character that the meta is evolving around. Almost like a boss or a hurdle rather than protagonist.
And then speaking of the protagonist himself, I know light is probably his worst bracket demon, but his hands look like they're in pain. It just doesn't seem like a sustainable playstyle to have in the long term.
I know he lost to gluto the last few times they played, but the matchup kinda sucks ngl. I'm sure it won't be the hardest to figure out.
I really think Mainstage-LMBM grand finals are a foreshadowing of what's to come. Tweek and Sparg0 both battling eachother out in grand finals.
Why mention Tweek's bad matchups but ignore the fact that Leo's two best characters in Joker and Byleth are bad matchup's for Tweek's Diddy.
I think the video is correct, it's hard to be a solo main and consistently be finishing top 3, there's too many incredible players playing characters that give you a bad time.
@@seanrenon747 it wasn't an attempt to discredit Leo, Diddy is rough for him to deal with, but I didn't think it was worth mentioning. Only did with gluto because I don't think he'll be much of a bracket demon soon.
And that's true. Gluto and Light are amazing players but they're big examples on the struggles of solo maining. Gluto just gets obliterated by sonix, and this was light's first tourney in awhile that he didn't get matchup checked into oblivion.
When i heard in the beginning of the video "the big doc hater". for a few seconds i was thinking by miself: Why this guy hate the smash documentaries?

I finally realized what makes steve so frustrating to wathc. He's the only character that looks like he wins on accident. "Whoops, i anvil'ed out of disadvantage for the third time and you got hit by it". Its like watching tea f smash 5 times in a row and beating Dabuz. Just doesnt seems right.

Bruh yr going to need alot more events to catch up to MKLeo much less be considered all time greatest bka number one in the world. You'd need a MKLeo code breaker, hack, data leak to even beat MKLeo for all those titles. Simply put stop disrespecting the man, the legend, the god; MKLeo.
I don't understand why people get upset at their rank. Like nobody is personally trying to rank you to low bro, get over yourself. Even if you don't agree with the methodology, if you were better you would be ranked higher, as no methodology could have you ranked way lower than your results warrant without also putting other amazing player way low.

@@Sambroke The spindash itself has more mixup than most characters. He stopped mixing up in his game 5 against Leo and he got hit 3 times in a row out of spindash.
What he does is really difficult and takes a crazy amount of skill, talent and knowledge regardless of how you feel about watching it
