When I saw the news of his daughter also being among the deceased... I really had to put my phone down, go outside and cry. For some reason, the gruesomeness of this situation made me really feel like sh*t. Never knew these people but I grew up in the 90’s in California, so I definitely knew Kobe as a culture icon. If it's true that they hit the mountain in the fog, it would have been an instant death and no one on board would have ever known they were going to die.

It's possible their accounts are inaccurate but if not, there would have been some span of time before the impact where they presumably would have been aware that they were going down.

I've never even been a Lakers fan I've been a Heat fan my entire life. However If you love sports you know talent and you can appreciate and admire an opponent/athlete.

Nothing suspicious here. It’s not really an accurate way of looking at it. If a celebrity is not in a plane that crashes, the non celebrities still would not have much attention brought to it aside from the initial news. Their deaths are not overshadowed by the people who knew and loved them. They are just less known before and after death. People have been watching Kobe for 20 years. They are mourning that loss.
People die everyday, in the end it’s all about the people’s lives you have touched in your lifetime. If that was millions, the millions will mourn. If that was only one person that is still good enough. Mourning is not a competition.

Then you get some of the people with the pettiness complaining about the newscaster the same thought they were between survivors and they had been perished because of the accident it would be nice if all of them lived stop criticizing thanking people know the facts helicopter went down would 9 people and we wonder why it happened.
