The light version of this d-274 is what sold me on vsl piano's. Never had I heard this sound quality before. This Steinway is the most "transparant" sounding piano I have ever heard.
It’s so fantastic. It’s expensive but worth it if I can get a good deal then I will buy it. I missed last black Friday deal but I will look for more offers.
There are so many piano libraries mate. Native instruments, steinberg, could you do a comprehensive comparison of all the ones you own? Play them one after another so that we get a good idea
just wonder what your audio system is like....i have a mac mini with two external $250 Sweetwater speakers....Bonsendorfer is good enough but still working on my Steinway D
Do you have any jazz demos you can do or post? I'd like to try this piano I think. My current go to piano is Sampletekk WG2 MkII. However, it's only16 layers but has that "Mojo" that sounds very unique vs. other pianos I've tried. Thanks!

The full version is only useful for surround sound. The standard library already comes with multiple mic positions for a great stereo image. It is definitely worth it. I can hear dynamics I’ve never heard with other piano sample libraries.
@@hifimidi uhh, no. In my opinion the additional close mics are the biggest selling points for the full versions, ESPECIALLY for this steinway. My advice is to wait for the voucher deal which vsl has once in a while, then wait for a sale, use the vouchers in the sale and just buy the full version.

This piano is otherworldly sounding. Unfortunately you need an M3 processor to use it and a lot of Ram 64 gigs at least
Is it requires to plug the physical key each time we use the piano?
Yes. If you disconnect it, the piano stops working.
