I decided to finally sit down and actually listen to Crystal Lake this morning and I was dumbfounded how long I have slept on this band. They’re simply amazing, and I love damn near everything they have put out. Amazing group no doubt
To be fair, Satan as a concept in Japan is FOR SURE not the same as it is in western culture. Good and Evil without any gray area isn't really a thing there as much (and most eastern religions for that matter).
Yup, they're not Christian. Just tries to relay good message through their songs. Heck, Ryo said "Kill Jesus" during Resurrection Fest. (Context: A guys who dressed like Jesus was standing in the center of a huge pit that was waiting for the breakdown)

Japan is one of those countries where people would say they're religiously unaffiliated, while at the same time visiting a Buddhist temple or Shinto shrine at the beginning of the year to pray for a good upcoming year. Which is a tradition called Hatsumoude. So while Ryo and the band might be Christian, they may also say they're Secular or Agnostic.
God works in mysterious ways and will speak to us in so many different mediums while they aren't cristian whose to say he isn't trying to speak to you or me or anyone else through this song.
