The funny thing about using JJK footage for this is that, in that series, explaining how your cursed technique works actually makes it more powerful. It's a kind of binding vow, by giving up the advantage of the element of surprise you increase the potency of your technique. It's a similar concept to how Toji is one of the strongest creatures on earth because he has ZERO cursed energy, except this one is opt-in
Now what if they just have a natural ability to counter whatever you are doing so figuring it out won't really matter and not to mention the ability is broken but the other guy you are fighting against is just that broken so even if you don't explain it or don't won't make a difference

I would just take the Vegito Blue route get a free hit. If what you want to say is so important you stop fighting to say it, you should've said it to someone who couldn't fight back.
Still could be explained better, like how much of a boost it gives. Why would I explain it instead of using it with the element of suprise for the first few times, then explaining it later when I need more power in the fight? Also some people explain it despite just not needing to, explaining it does nothing for like hakari, how do you get more than infinite cursed energy and instant rct?
@@akshayreddy4071Well explaining or not is your choice. Keeping the element of surprise is a valid option and not everyone explains it. @@akshayreddy4071 the binding vow increases the potency of the technique. And most sorcerers would be able to figure out someone's technique granted like a minute or something. When Nanami explained his technique to Mahito it increased the damage potency of the critical hits he could dish out

Shout out to Todo from Jujutsu Kaisen. Nobody knew how that shit worked, and he revealed the rules of his powers only when they were necessary to use. 10/10 writing.
Shout out to a lot of JJK characters actually because they pretty much always fight with this same strategic mindset. Nanami only reveals his technique when his enemy either won’t be able to use that info or already almost figured it out themselves. Sukuna doesn’t explain his technique at all. Toji knew Gojo was strong enough to not risk explaining anything to him. Nanami didn’t explain any of their abilities until they were just about to use a domain expansion and win the battle. Naobito (head of the Zen’in clan) hides the reveal of his 24 frames technique in his long nerdy rant about television display, and there are many more examples.
Honestly in some cases the only reason that doesn't work is because while they are powering up just like Cell they are already stronger than you to the point that you wouldn't deal damage. Now if someone takes so long to transform on some SSJ3 Goku first transformation stuff then yeah.
the show ressha sentai toqger was able to avoid this by just have the transformation create a line that the monsters can't cross while the heroes are transforming
This one depends, in the sailormoon extended magical girl example, the creator stated that while we see the entire transformation, for anyone else looking it happens in a split second. Kind of like how in DragonBall we see the entire fight but the heroes are actually moving so fast that normal people can't see them. So depending on the specific transformation, it might not be an actual rule to let your opponent transform just that there is nothing you can do about it. (However in DragonBall seeing as people can talk through a transformation and be understood, they definitely have time to counter it and just choose not to.)
Also the rule where you have to listen to your enemy's backstory, like i aint listening to your bullsh1t the second my enemy tries to tell their sad backstory im going to shut them up immediately
Deadass, that's why I was hype when Ichigo hollowfied against Grimmjow for the first time. Grimmy was like "Tf is on your face gang? And what's with your spiritual pressure??" Then Ichigo's just like "Sorry, no time to explain. Run my fade." 🤣🔥
Thats scene was hella cold tho „I’m sorry grimmjow but I can’t lose to you anymore“ blud basically said I can’t give you that goku full power treatment
While it’s a thing in some anime, the rule I’d break would be the one where girls beat up others or be overbearing for stupid reasons and not get punished, I think it’s fair that I fight back.
Don’t give them any space to escape, regroup, recover, to power up and transform, not even to think. Just quickly close the distance and defeat them as quickly and efficiently as possible. But if you were to fight someone like Goku, exploit the fact that they would let you power up or rest if needed. Oh, and take whatever they are saying with a grain of salt. You never know when they are trying to gaslight you to fight for them.
Ainz is honestly one of the better examples of going all out from the get-go. Bro could've destroyed that army with some fireballs but decided to hit up H.P. Lovecraft instead 💀
A fight is a game of chess. You have to think of your moves and how they can help you win. You have to think on the cons and pros. If you use everything at the beginning of a fight, you will fall before you know it.
My only issue with this one, is if you don’t win immediately you have nothing left as a surprise. If I dodge you entirely or counter, you’ve just shown your entire hand. Now I do disagree with purposefully getting dogged on to gauge an enemies strength (Goku) that’s free damage in yourself. But using 90 of 100% isn’t a bad idea. Let’s you hold surprises.
I'd like to break the "hero is 15 years old" rule Come on lets have the Shonen hero be a 30 year old man or a shojo magical girl going though her second divorce
On the second one- Magic users not having Buffs to help themselves. They have a staff and don't use it as a bo or a they use wands but don't modify it into a mace.
That's what I love about jjba, because a lot of the time, the villains don't reveal their ability unless doing so gives them the advantage, so a lot of fights are the characters trying to figure out how the stand ability works, which makes all of the fights a lot more interesting.
Can you give an example of when telling someone what their ability does gives them an advantage? The only thing I can think of is making them freak out.

I’m applying this because of Power Rangers (I know it’s not an anime…YET but just listen) I am under no circumstances letting you transform or combine your mechs so that you have a chance to overpower me. I WILL do you dirty if I catch you lacking.
For real the BBEG’s of the Power Rangers series are all incompetent bafoons. After the first 2 or 3 episodes they should see the pattern forming. Send monster-> monster gets one over on rangers because they don’t know monsters weird power -> rangers escape while handy capped->rangers over come handy cap and beat monster-> monster becomes giant -> rangers call Zords combine them and beat monster for good. All the BBEG has to do is send in like 2 monster per Ranger at once’s make them big right away and then 2 v 1 the rangers in their Zords while preventing them from combining. Divide and conquer them. But alas Villains can’t be that smart. Or they are limited In Some way. Then again the good guys need to win.
I mean exactly, my mouth staying closed unless I’m saying the name of my attack like in most anime’s, you getting full court pressed the entire time, and I’m not letting you do no transformations. You start charging and you die before it happens, cause I ain’t playing. Another rule I’d break is absolutely the rule of standing on the side lines while my homie fighting the villain, I’m sneaking them the second I get the chance. I am not above jumping
Okay I know some people will say dbz but did we just straight up forget how the fight before goku and piccolo against Frieza went? I didn’t. Vegeta, Gohan, and Krillian both tried to jump this nigga…and not one of their attacks worked. They all were getting laid out. The only reason they survived that long because frieza likes to play with his food…and piccolo showed up.

For me it's: 1.Not explaining my powers/ability/tools 2.Saying my moves out loud 3.If you're a villain monologuing/powering up, you're getting this combo into the wall with another one. 4. At least with the “explain your power” bit, some shows decided to have it make sense in universe by saying that it somehow increases the power by doing so
One of my favorite cases of not telling someone your power is in JJBA Purple Haze Feedback, one of the major antagonists just straight up lies about his stands power.

They started monologuing.

I would just take the Vegito Blue route get a free hit. If what you want to say is so important you stop fighting to say it, you should've said it to someone who couldn't fight back.
So basically, you're a video game player in a world of stories. Understandable.
No it's still a story just written in their enemies blood and humiliating disgrace
Most times in Jojo, unless they are threatening each other, they don't explain the powers to each other, they figure it out.
I like the fact that in JJK, when you explain your technique you get stronger is a great way to stay in the rule without breaking logic
Same with bleach and shouting the names of your attack lol when I saw that shit I was like “OHHHHH that’s why they do that dumb shit”😂
@@iceman-cn5xx yeah, shame there aren’t more anime that does that.
If the ability is easy to figure out, might as well get a boost instead of losing out on the free power up. And you could also not fully explain it or explain it wrong like Todo did with Hanami, which let him trick her into making a misplay. I also think it’s funny that Megumi explained Mahoraga to that blonde twink as an extra fuck you. Someone might do it just to be petty
@@akshayreddy4071 the binding vow increases the potency of the technique. And most sorcerers would be able to figure out someone's technique granted like a minute or something. When Nanami explained his technique to Mahito it increased the damage potency of the critical hits he could dish out

Jojo in a nutshell
Explaining your power should only be done:
-While teaching it to someone else
-By a 3rd party to someone else
-Pulling a Hail Mary out with the expectation of not defeating your opponent
Literally Deku. Although there are sometimes he's told by his enemy what their power is.
An example, it's been a long time since I've seen it but I'm pretty sure muscular never told Deku his quirk, he basically just said his was a superior version of his
@@joseguadalupemartineztorre9702 tbf it’s better off keeping it completely hidden
- the person you are teaching it to could used it against you in a distant future (Sasuke)
- your opponent could learn how to use your power (or the OP counter to it) after beating/killing you if it’s interesting enough (sukuna)
- a third party explaining works well but mostly if the 3rd party is the narrator. Otherwise this might means your power isn’t that impressive in the grand scheme of the show you’re in

Teaching Power:
Depends on the Power System. Got to keep Martial Arts alive for the next Gen.(One Punch Man/Garou) User chose their student for better or worse, and it might evolve the Power(Naruto/Konohamuru)
Understanding Power:
A fights a fight, end it quick, don't give to many hints about it, try to make the opponent think your power works differently(JoJo/Dio)
Revealing Power:
Someone's going to barely survive

Android 17 approves!
the show ressha sentai toqger was able to avoid this by just have the transformation create a line that the monsters can't cross while the heroes are transforming

A fight is a game of chess. You have to think of your moves and how they can help you win. You have to think on the cons and pros. If you use everything at the beginning of a fight, you will fall before you know it.
“Always wondered why people never use their strongest attack first.”

Another rule I’d break is absolutely the rule of standing on the side lines while my homie fighting the villain, I’m sneaking them the second I get the chance. I am not above jumping

For me it's:

4. Last one, if the villain has a reason(*AN ACTUAL REASONABLE*) to be left alive, you're going into the ICU, but if little to none, get ready to face your sons in the afterlife.

Number 3, you have to promise that if you attack a monologuing villain to say “You sly dog, I got you monologuing!”
