This is one of my FAVOURITE movies. It's a classic. I'm actually shocked from what I'm hearing.
Showgirls now is a cult classic, and i love it,and love her too.
It wasn't that bad of a movie ,I liked it , and thought they all did a good job acting it even Berkley
I never understood the criticism. I always loved this movie
Everyone needed to crucify someone at the time for such a failing: why not the young & beautiful main actress at the center of it all? Sure, people have changed their minds now, almost some 30 years later, to how good the film is, but what about the life and career of E.B? She is actually a great actress. Entertaining with both skill and talent. It’s not often an actor can convey, convincingly, such struggle and resolution together at the same time in relation to their character, and to the story as a whole. She really could’ve changed a lot about the arts, and I still believe she can still do it. I loved this film when it came out. Straight camp? Sure. But, inspirational and Oscar worthy. E.B. will receive her standing ovation one day. Meanwhile, I’ll continue watching Showgirls, and playing the board game based on the film.
showgirls is a brilliant movie. love the soundtrack aw well
So sad. Such a beautiful and talented actress. I think it was not her, but Gina Gerson that made the movie feel extra sleezy. Just beyond sad. I love her as an actress. I hope she gets a comeback.
