I have a honey company and premier is my only authorized dealer for wood deeps ,supers or frames or apimaye depending on the case. I just put on a screened bottom and a migratory cover.

These boxes are stout. I really liked the blind dovetail joint, there is zero racking of the box once the joint is set.
im making rabbetted joints,glued and stapled ,but those are pretty,
So much of beekeeping media is about moving product. FWIW a true dovetail box is stronger.
I have 100s of standard boxes. Definitely not stronger. I am stocked for awhile but when I need more boxes I plan to give these a try. If I find something I like I share it with folks. If people want to buy it. Fine. If not. Then that’s ok too. Thanks for watching.
I’d say-great design and look. Great job.
For me though, I have trouble with pine wood. It’s not a good wood for outdoor use. I’ve used them for decades and have now switched to Cedar. Even for frames-I now use Oak wood.
I understand that the Flow Hives are not for all people-but talk about an exceptional hive! Australian Cedar-Laser cut, and mold and fungus resistant.
Sounds good. If I get to the point of ordering more of these I will probably try to wax dip them. I love my wax dipped boxes.

I much prefer the traditional standard box joint corners. The argument about less exposed endgrain is ridiculous

Are they worth the extra cost?
I think so but it really depends on each person’s situation. I plan to try some when I order more boxes. I am actually pretty well stocked for now. Couldn’t hurt to try a couple and see what you think.

Not in this case. These joints are the opposite of weak.
