This is the best acoustic guitar review/demo I've seen, very thorough. I really feel like I've gotten to know and understand the guitar. I will now go buy it from your website.
Really great detailed review and demo video! Thank you so much!
Man, this thing really really sounds good with a mic and the built in pickup. It'd be great for recording or playing live. Acoustic guitars almost always sound a bit quackish to me when plugged in, but this one doesn't, especially when you adjust that slider.
Great review! I just bought this guitar today and LOVE it!
Thank you for the watch!
Thank you for blending the mic and the output I always run this was when recording and most of the other videos do one or the other but not at the same time.
Amo esta guitarra ❤ recientemente compre una
Definitely feeling that blend in the song mix at 7:05. Fits in just as you described. Nicely done!
Right? Cuts into the mix really well. Great guitar!
It's got a nice punch to it.
Thanks !
You bet!
Can you tell me about the DI box 😊
What is the reddish yamaha dreadnaught model on your left?
I see you have a solid body Taylor electric guitar against the wall. Taylor should bring them back with some updates and maybe add the ES2 as an option to the T5z
We've had it back there in every video since we started the channel and you're the first to mention it! We'll definitely do a video on it at some point, but yeah we agree that they were great guitars that were just misunderstood at the time. They definitely deserve a comeback at some point.
@@tarpley-music I thought the most interesting thing about them was their bridge design. Pure work of art to look at. I liked their innovative approach to the interchangeable pick ups too. It would be cool for you to put out a video on them.
For a thin line guitar this sounds nice
It's one of our best sellers in the entire acoustic room. Yamaha really hit a home run with it!
@@tarpley-music Does Yamaha make a higher grade APX in their current lineup of acoustics? I use to own a Silent Guitar in the nylon. It was really great for late night playing and having the aux in and headphone out was a blessing. I just got weary of whenever of string changes. I hate restringing nylon guitars.
Yamaha used to make a mid-range APX700, but now all they have is the entry APX600 and the the high-end APX1200II. The 1200II is a spruce top, rosewood back & sides, and has really nice inlay design. Available in natural and trans-black finish.
As for the silent guitar, they make a steel string version now! Love those guitars.
Except for the parts where we mic’d it.
what kind of guitar are you using for the intro?
Hey Eddie! Are you referring to the intro music? If So, I did all the acoustic parts on a Taylor Mini Koa :)
