Back in the early 1970's, when I was about 13 or 14, I was walking with my father along Route 16 a few miles north of Boston, MA. It was about 5 PM (rush hour) and there was a lot of vehicular traffic. There is a large building on that road that used to be occupied by Avco Research Laboratories, and there was a large area of open grass-covered land surrounding the building. As we were walking along the sidewalk I noticed something hovering about 10-12 off the ground close to Avco's large concrete sign. I was probably about 100 ft away from it at that time and couldn't get a clear view of it, so I ran down the sidewalk to get closer. When I reached where it was hovering I stood there looking up at it for about 10 seconds and I also pointed my finger at it. This object was bell-shaped, kind of a translucent color, and completely silent. It was about 3.5-4 ft tall, 3.5 ft wide. Whatever this thing was it either saw me or sensed me because as soon as I pointed at it it took off, up and diagonally at the same time, at great speed, I'd estimate 150 MPH, and was out of sight within seconds. My father also saw it, but from farther away because he did not run toward it like I did. We discussed what we thought this thing was--he said it was a balloon. I said it was a UFO, but he didn't believe that could be possible. It was shaped similar to a balloon, but there is not a balloon in the world that can sense somebody pointing at it or that can accelerate from 0 to 150 MPH in a few seconds. I think that Avco was doing some kind of highly classified magnetic research in that building and perhaps that magnetic radiation attracted this object.

What you want is Identified Aerial Phenomena which are clearly not man made or natural. Until that happens, a UAP is just a blurry video and is nothing to write home about.
