    Here is the full version of making a wooden low D Irish whistle out of cedar wood. This is a great how to if you want to try and make your own and you have a lathe, and it gives you a glimpse into the work that Nick puts into making each and every one of his fine instruments.
    Some people asked for a real speed version so this is about 1 hour long.

    thank you very much Nick.... good to see such meticulous work ! and i feel very much at home in this type of workshop... my workshop is not so advanced.. but i enjoy making a lot of different flutes... some whistles...ok.. but mostly Shakuhachi, native american flute, Xiao, anasazi, bansuri and also some irish flutes.. still learning...
