I agree, this is the second floor plan I've seen that features the master suite right off the main living area. I could see that working early in the morning when waking up and getting a cup of coffee. But when entertaining guests, I wouldn't want them to have direct access to the master bedroom like that. Some sort of hall way and door needs to separate the master suite from the main living space. Other than that, I love this home.

Whatever you're cooking your clothes will smell like it. I mean why put a door in the bedroom. Bad designers and the bathroom is so dated not to mention as soon as you open up the front door you spill into the kitchen no foyer.
Stock materials used, I guess this is why it's under $300k.

So the kitchen next to the bedroom is such a minor complaint like come on. Close the door, open the windows, you'll be fine.
How can people be so spoiled?
I work for a builder/design company for over 10 year's I can give you a list of corners that were cut and not A-grade finishes were used.
Now if you check out the other home she had listed a few week's ago by Toll Brothers you'll understand my comment.
Toll Brothers is who you want to be your builder you get what you pay for.

Very nice design. I really like the rich use of materials on the exterior. The stone work, brick and cedar shingle looking siding create lots of interesting texture. I also love the upstairs. The design actually manages to incorporate a spacious loft effect for entertaining while also including 2 additional bedrooms. Love how that was accomplished. My only gripe is the Master Suite is directly off the main living space. Some sort of separation is in order. Guests shouldn't have direct access to the master bedroom like that. Other than that, I really enjoyed this tour.
He swung the camera around so fast that it made me dizzy. He should've taken more time, and not rushed through the house.

Yeah my vertigo was like WEEEEE! Camera movement needs to slow down to about half its current speed, especially when panning (looking left and right). It may be limitations of equipment used. The movement seemed electromechanical in nature.

Under 300 k?? Very nice use of space... Downstairs feels a bit tight, but upstairs has that nice family room..... Maybe..eventually, the garage could be placed infront to the house... And use that space to make a nice family room downstairs...that way, upstairs, could make another bathroom or get more space for those bedrooms. But it is beautiful as it is already

@@hggy The con was the government system, top, bottom military style approach, every one is suspect to theatrics and are afraid of who you are, so alot of spying goes on, alot of Christianity theatrics as well, alot of technology used, the pro was the environment appeared well to live in and affordable in a nice area, ignoring all of the cons if you can.

Was about to say the same. Even in Canada you wont find house like this for this price. Usually around 500k.
But the minimum wage is far lower than California. Also unemployment rate to high. So moving has its pros and cons.

In Belgium you get almost nothing for $300k (€253k). It's amazing how much land and house you get over there for that kind of money. Here you can buy a small apartment for that kind of money :(
Hey um this house is like upgraded to the max since it is a showing home. It is probably 430k in my opinion if you were to buy it straight away.

Way outside of Austin, at least half hour with no traffic, longer in most cases.
Not a fan of having the bedroom right off the kitchen. I am used to bedroom being down the hall and away from common areas. This is a gorgeous hime, though.

This is the Size House I've been looking for it's not to Big or Small the Room's are Cozy not Cramped with Oversized Furniture but Regular Functional Furniture in the Rooms my only Wish would be for a Dumbwaiter up to the Second Floor Sitting Area so you don't have to Run up and Down the Staircase for Snacks or Drinks.
